I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I would love to hear about what you went through to get yourself to this point.
I think people would, indeed, be interested in how I became a producer, and I think others should share their stories too on this subject.
Well, when I found G-Man's predecessor site 'Fatal Females' and became aware of this community, being a writer, my first contribution (after lurking for a long time) was a story which was published on his then new Femmegore site. I needed a pen name. When I started writing in my youth, I had toyed with the pen name 'Bluestone'. My first story was entitled, "Drop Dead, Gorgeous!". So, I used the initials of that first story, and became DDG Bluestone. Thus, I became a participating part of this fine community... sharing my thoughts with other like-minded people. I posted more stories to FG after that initial one, but, that didn't seem to satisfy my need to contribute... give back to the community that helped me to realize that I was not a freak, just a person with an unusual fantasy interest. I wanted to put up a site that was similar to FG... imitation being the sincerest form of flattery. I got a free Angelfire website and invited G-Man to review my initial postings. He told it like it was. It was a very derivative site. He challenged me to make my own contribution to our community. So, I kept that in mind. In time, there was a discussion on the FG board about the Silk Stalkings TV show, and how many sexy death scenes were featured in that series. So, I researched the series, and found a website that gave episode summaries as well as a website where I could purchase copies of these shows (which site is now sadly defunct). This was well prior to their relatively recent release on DVD, when tapes of these episodes were very scarce. I had to scour the episodes for the death scenes, getting input from viewers of the series through the FG board. I made clips of several female death scenes, wrote reviews, and offered them for sale as "The Silk Stakings Review" just so that I could break even on the project. I made enough from sales of Volume 1 to purchase more episodes, and eventually produced 5 volumes on CD.
Now, kiddies, I don't want to bore you... So, is anybody interested in hearing the rest of the story, or have I shared enough? :)
