Femme Fatalities Message Board

This topic has I think been raised before but thought I'd try again because I'm fascinated by the movie and I'm also at a loss when it comes to identifying modern actresses. Mention Marlene Dietrich, Jean Simmons and Ava Gardner and their faces are immediately there but what is the difference between Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba? Is Jessica Simpson a cartoon? (No, I know she's not.)
To recap, there are 4 victims seen - the girl in the river, the office murder, the barmaid, and the hooker in Rusk's bed. Who would you like to play these?
I do actually have one idea. It seems to me that Kate Winslet would be prefect for the office victim.

Look no further. Jessica Alba would be an excellent choice. As
you can see from the first photo she has a wonderful neck for
strangling. Jessica also would be an outstanding choice for other
death scene victims - from girl next-door to floozy to femme fatale.
And as you might have noticed, she also has a superb body for
all manner of stabbings and shootings.

…hmmm, Blue, exactly how large is your casting budget?

Im sorry. Jessica Alba doesnt...eh-hem,... measure up...as an Ursula Andress look alike. I guess you got to admire the attempt though.

IMO she looks even hotter than Ursula Undress! I am surprised the water isn't steaminig off of her body!

I've never been a fan of crime scenes. I want to see the kill.

To that end, the office is the only good scene in the movie, so any of my choices would do.

I totally agree ... I prefer on screen kill scenes...not crime scenes. I'd like that other stranglings in Frenzy were on screen in a new version.

Following the proposal of Rusk is my hero ... here's my choices:

Amanda Tapping, Téa Leoni or Traylor Howard - office

Especially Amanda Tapping... I'd love to watch her being strangled slowly with a necktie!!!

Helen Hunt or Katee Sackhoff - barmaid

I dream of watching Helen Hunt being strangled since the days of Mad About You!!! But Katee would be an incredible choice for this Frenzy scene also.

Marg Helgenberger- hooker in bed

Marg would be a perfect victim to a serial strangler. Simple that

Charlize Theron for the office scene & Amy Adams as the barmaid. Theron's tongue is longer than Barbara Leigh-Hunt's which should increase the shock value. Not sure who I would cast as the other two victims.
