This topic has I think been raised before but thought I'd try again because I'm fascinated by the movie and I'm also at a loss when it comes to identifying modern actresses. Mention Marlene Dietrich, Jean Simmons and Ava Gardner and their faces are immediately there but what is the difference between Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba? Is Jessica Simpson a cartoon? (No, I know she's not.)
To recap, there are 4 victims seen - the girl in the river, the office murder, the barmaid, and the hooker in Rusk's bed. Who would you like to play these?
I do actually have one idea. It seems to me that Kate Winslet would be prefect for the office victim.

Look no further. Jessica Alba would be an excellent choice. As
you can see from the first photo she has a wonderful neck for
strangling. Jessica also would be an outstanding choice for other
death scene victims - from girl next-door to floozy to femme fatale.
And as you might have noticed, she also has a superb body for
all manner of stabbings and shootings.

I totally agree ... I prefer on screen kill scenes...not crime scenes. I'd like that other stranglings in Frenzy were on screen in a new version.

Charlize Theron for the office scene & Amy Adams as the barmaid. Theron's tongue is longer than Barbara Leigh-Hunt's which should increase the shock value. Not sure who I would cast as the other two victims.
