I'm surprised in all things considered on how long most of the older game players are still here.
I started with Necrobabes, Dark Fantasies, Slaymates, Black Plague, WAVE, Fatal Females, Peter and most all seemed to survive one way or another except for Black Plague and Necrobabes.
Well Black Plague was more of a Faces of Death type site (real stuff ), so I guess I should not count them.

I also bought a few things (comics) from him back around 1990.
I seemed to remember his last name was Ahern or Ahurn or very close to that.

You are right on G-Man. The man's name was Alan ( or was it Tom) Ahearn and he sold me many videos of his still pictures, made to tell a story. He used the same model, who usually portrayed a femme fatal type spy. I may even have some of his videos in my basement. Unfortunately I got rid of his comics.

After thinking about it for a while, I think his first name was James, not Alan or Tom. His drawings were really detailed works, very professionally done. Any help out there?

It was James Ahearn and his website was called "Horror Femmes."
