Ah, BLISS!

Similar to what I have done on the Poisoned Paradigm board, I went to the "User Control Panel" and selected the option of "Friends and Foes". I then selected "Manage Foes" and typed in the name of a poopiehead who disgusts me. Now, ALL HIS POSTS COMPLETELY IGNORED and unseen. Suddenly, it is a whole different board! NO TROLL!............................elsullo

Yes, this board has a lot of very cool features, many of which are very under-used!

FYI... so you know that option is also available here. 
After loging on... click "User Control Panel" just below the name Bluestone's under the Banner at the top of the page.
Then click on the Friends & Foe option at the bottom of the"Options" list.

Hi Elsullo & FF Staff.
Thanks for the details about useing the control panel to block out the posts of any particular pains in the arse (there's only one that really springs to mind) that try to dominate everyones thoughts.
This feature may encourage more people to send posts without risk of being bullied.
Your comment about it suddenly being a different board was very well put.
On the strength of this feature I'll register on PParadigm's Board.

Too bad you have to actually log in for it to work. I don't usually login unless I want to make a comment, so some of the noise pollution remains within view.

Max,
You can set it so that you are automatically logged in whenever you visit the board, which means you never have to login again

I made the change right after I heard about it. It so much better living with out agitators
I do stay away from auto sign ins, even tho I have a master password on my computer, I have "younger fingers" that sometimes play around when i'm not home

Oh Bluestone, let them have their fun.
If they want to put on blinders and stick there heads in the sand, and give someone else free rein in being able to post his or her opinions unopposed to other important members and managers here, let them. You as a webmaster have a job to do, and must be aware of all things happening on this board. So you , nor me can afford to play that kind of game. Plus you are generally aware of my future plans. Let them miss out when that day and time comes. :idea:
