Oh... and talking about vaccinations... the Femmefatalites server was vaccinated
early this year and just had its first booster shot this past Saturday.
Done this so we all can still have a safe place to play.

I am not sure what to think. I certainly hope Buck is well and he is just doing something he felt he needed to do. Tommy and Max, you guys have known him a lot longer than me. If he made this decision, he really respected and admired friends here and it is hard to imagine he would not have disclosed his intentions to one or more of them, if only for knowing that people would be concerned about him.

This thread at the moment seems to be getting to be a bit toooo personal and straying off topic.
So I am temporally
"FREEZING" this thread until Bluestone returns from vacation.

Sincerely G

Yes. He was a great fellow and always supportive of everyone's efforts. I miss him and our conversations on a number of issues.

Agreed, it is very sad. I always followed his blog and his reviews (mainly of the Amazonian movies and also some of Max & Sophie's material)

Here is his official obituary/announcement, although it is pretty brief...

I'm sorry to hear this. I guess this news could be taken as a reminder that we are real people living real lives.

I miss him, too.

His blog was there from the beginning of my involvement with this on-line community and his absense leaves a big hole that may never be fully healed.

Uncle Buck's Blog is still up because I've been hosting it for him over the years. I intend to leave it up, it's on a dedicated server I use for my own website, and it still gets a lot of traffic.

It hasn't been updated since May 5th.

The website is flat HTML with a bit of Javascript, there is no backend or database, Uncle Buck was uploading updates via SFTP. So question: Is anybody interested in following in his footsteps? I'd be willing to continue hosting it at no charge, I never charged UB anything either. I also have control of that domain.

I think there is a lot of worth in what he was doing, I just don't have the time to do it myself. You can PM me if you are interested.

Jesus just seen this as I haven't been about for a long time due to personal reasons. His blog was one of the best on the net and was my goto blog for a good honest review.
