I Built a New Clip Site

I haven't posted here since last year and decided to get back into the swing of things. First, some context for the topic. ;)

In October 1999, I started a clip site for fantasy asphyxia fetishists like myself. 10 years later, I started learning how to create digital art in 3D. Thus began a 10-year-long struggle to maintain interest in both hobbies. My passion for 3D art eventually drove me to close my clip site in June 2018 so I could focus on creating original artwork to share with the fantasy death fetish community.

Suffice it to say, that didn’t work out. Our community was founded on our mutual appreciation for live-action death scenes in movies and TV, and I wanted to be part of that tradition again.

Last October, I started sharing my clips again. I included all of my favorite types of deaths, not just asphyxia-related, and only scenes I like. I used my MediaFire account and shared links between DS and FN.

Last February, I built a new clip site to offer a central location for them. I closed it in April out of concern for future storage issues since I'm on a shared hosting plan.

I recently learned some people have trouble using MediaFire. I enjoy building and maintaining databases, so instead of looking for another service and hoping it’ll work for everyone, I decided to re-build my new site. I kept my old one online for nineteen years before my host suggested I upgrade to a dedicated plan, so I’m reasonably certain I’ll be able to enjoy an equally long run, especially since I’m only sharing death scenes and only scenes I like.

With that in mind, I am very happy to announce the re-launch of Cinemagore.com: Celebrating On-Screen Fantasy Death.
