I forget exactly when I first had these fantasies, but it was about ten years ago that I first learned about the legend of the Amazons. Eventually I started daydreaming I stood amongst their ranks. As I looked around the internet for more information, I came across the Amazon Warriors site, and the alluring images there of beautiful warriors meeting deadly fates.
DA then came into being as my main source of such images, mostly on the stock side of things where creators would upload many a series of images in the genre. Marcar over there cemented my preferred fantasy of an arrow piercing my body, and his pics provided inspiration for a couple stories.
But a need for more lead me to Deadskirts, and then later to FetNoir. The latter going down lead me here, and now after mostly lurking I am making my first post an overview of my journey!

Welcome, Talia! Good to see you here. Yes, you mention Amazons being the thing that lead you to the fetish, but I keep forgetting to mention that on my end, another two things that pushed me in this direction are a lifelong fascination with Joan of Arc (to the point I am 100%, no bullshit, convinced that I had to be one of the soldiers that followed her in a past life), and seeing a lot of art depicting the death of Cleopatra!

It started with Heavy Metal 2000 when I was young, it was my first time seeing a main female character (Julie) a total dominant badass that wasn’t afraid to use her sexuality/submissiveness to get what she wanted.
