Rule Change

In order to widen the discussions on this board, the "On Topic" forum has been renamed, and Rule 4 has been amended to read as follows:

4) Stay On Topic: The main topic of this board is Female Death Scenes, but the administration will tolerate postings unrelated to this main topic, provided that the majority of topics for this board remain focussed on the board's main topic.

Hopefully, this will stimulate a more active discussion forum.

Hello Everyone,

FF has now been in operation for about a year and a half. During that time, several changes and improvements have taken place. For example, there was originally a rule against regular members posting photos, since we had limited server space initially. Recently, the photo attachment feature was enabled in order to allow all members to post photos, but the original rule was never amended. I have just reviewed and updated the Rules that needed updating. This is always preferable to continually adding new rules. So, the number of rules remains the same, but slight modifications have been made, such as updating references to the old "On Topic" forum with its new name, the "Main Discussion" forum.

One Rule that was quoted by me on Kelli's Re-Introduction thread also caused some concern for Advertizing Producers. It appeared that FF was trying to limit their creative freedom in restricting certain types of content. This was never the intent of that Rule. FF only wishes to control its own content, not the content of other producers. Therefore, that Rule has been amended to read as follows:

6) Subject Matter Not Permitted On This Board: The administration does not allow any depiction or reference on this board to pregnant or underage female victims. This includes such depictions or references in posts, linked posts, stories, videos, stills, cartoons, comics, or any other format whatsoever! The administration also does not allow the posting on this board of pornographic material whether it relates to Necromedia or not. The exception to this Rule is the Necro Media forum which contains material posted and produced by independent companies and may contain material which is not permitted on the other forums of this board. The management of FF is not responsible for any material posted by other producers on the "Necro Media" forum and such material is allowed in the interests of fostering artistic freedom of expression by other producers. The producers themselves shall be responsible for the material that they choose to post on the "Necro Media" Forum.

I hope that clarifies the position of FF Management on the issue of artistic freedom of producers in this genre.
