Here are the first 6 pages of the final McQuade sketchbook. These are short sequences mostly based on llhuydd text stories. As you will see, we had originally planned to drop in some dialogue and narration, but never got around to it. Feel free to add your own if you feel inspired.

There are a total of 62 pages including 15 different stories. They may take a few weeks to scan and prep.

Just uploaded the next 5 pages in this McQuade sketchbook. Heavy sex in this one, but Misty doesn't survive (as usual).

Here's another McQuade comic I don't remember seeing online. It's from my hardcopy collection, received in trade over 30 years ago. My apologies if it has already been posted here -- but to my knowledge, it has not been widely distributed and this is my original scan (which I have not previously uploaded). It's another lesbian themed story, enticingly titled "Dungeon of Doom".

I had intended my McQuade material to be posted in this thread to keep it in one place, along with Ilhyudd's many contributions. Unfortunately, as my original posts were shuffled around, the Assault on the Black Widow comic ended up in my shared artwork thread. Since it is a McQuade piece, I will add it here. Moderators feel free to remove the dupe in the Fritz thread if need be.

Yessir! Many thanks for posting Dungeon Of Doom. I had not seen this comic before. I know McQuade wasn't personally a fan of lesbian sex, so I'm guessing this must have been a commission.

I have scanned and cleaned up the next (3 page) vignette in the final McQuade sketchbook and here it is:

WOW!

McQuade's "Dungeon of Doom" was originally a custom he did for me (who knows what year?? )

I'd never seen it posted online before. The scans look even better than the originals! :approve:

Hope everybody enjoys it.

Hey Jimbo! Nice that our paths cross again, and glad to see you active on this forum.

Thanks for the kind words about my Dungeon of Doom post. I seem to recall receiving the hard copy in the late 1980's, back when (if memory serves) you and I were exchanging our wares by snail mail. I'm not certain, but I would guess I obtained the photocopied drawings from you, so it's quite fortuitous that after 30+ years you come across my digitized version here. I suspect it has not made it online till now because -- like Ilhuydd's Misty and the Sun Jewel -- the artwork is on large format paper which doesn't fit on most consumer grade scanners. I managed to get the job done using Photoshop's merge function. It's a bit tricky, but for those of you flummoxed by material on oversized stock, you can scan the source and stitch it together. Perhaps this will reveal some more hidden treasures.

Here's the next sketchbook sequence (41-46). I felt that the images needed more explanation, so I dropped in some text and also uploaded the llhuydd short story on which it was based - aptly named "In Death Deliverance". You have to scroll to the top of the Mediafire page to find it.

Hey Fritz! It's possible you got that Xerox from me. I was trading lots of stuff back then via snail mail.... I used to buy blank VHS tapes by the case!

As for graphics, I'm still using the old Paint Shop Pro 6 (the oldest one that I could install) because I don't want to have to take an 8 hour course on how to use the newer ones. I paste together oversized pics/texts all the time... pretty easy.

I also remember McQuade did the second part of the "Assault on the Black Widow" for me. I still think the villainess blowing up in a microwave chamber is a good idea! :lol2:
