Well blow-me-down!!! JIMBO

What other good stuff you been hiding from us all these years!!!   :lol2:

Well, Carl... some things tend to be forgotten unless something stirs the memory.

My first exposure to James McQuade was in an adult bookstore comic magazine... color cover, glossy B&W inside. I can't remember the title right now, but it was about a guy who gets his cock cut off by a coven of witches (M&F). He comes back later with a MAC-10 and wipes them all out! Does that sound familiar with anybody? I suppose I still have it, but haven't run across it in years.

Hey Jimbo... Was it Hellfire Queen? I had to dig around for this one because it wasn't one of my faves, but it seems to match your description -- especially the bit about the guy losing his, umm... dork. Not for everyone I guess, but for McQuade completists, here it is (I think).

THAT'S IT, Fritz! :D

While McQuade's art improved over the years, I still consider THIS to be his MAGNUM OPUS!

Thanks to you and llhuydd for sharing it with us!

Here are the next 4 pages (58-61) in the McQuade "Shorts" sketchbook. I also uploaded the original pre-Photoshopped pages for anyone interested in how the original artwork looked prior to cleanup. Quite a bit of work involved.

These are the final pages of my collection. Sadly, Mr. McQuade passed away recently, so there will be no new material.
Perhaps Fritz (or someone else) has some previously unseen artwork to share with us...

The mainstream may not of appreciated him, but this community sure did, and I hope he understood what he meant to us. Sometimes as a creator, it's not the size of the audience, but the quality of them that matters

I redrew a drawing McQuade did I liked a lot called "A Gift for the King"; a handsom young blonde warrioress, easily imagined to the the queen of her tribe, cut down in battle by a single arrow perfectly piercing her breastplate to impale her through her nipple. Presented as a trophy to the victor in his triumph to be gawked over and admiringly examined by sight and by touch by the King and his noblemen. The congratulatory wine flowing freely...

I posted this at Diviantart before they tossed out all us deviants, but not before James McQuade dropped me a note thanking me for the homage. That's the only time I've conversed with him. Im glad he liked my drawing.
