Looking for help locating vids...

I made a post last year on the D.S. forum inquiring about a series of vids, and got a few responses, but I don't think I asked here on Blue's board, so here goes...

There is a now defunct company that was called "Syldra Video" that had a website called "gunsandleather.eu" back in the early 2000's. They made very gritty, raw-styled short vids that were heavily noir-inspired, and looked like they were filmed in the 60's or 70's, despite being recent productions. I think they were based out of Europe, possibly France.

They focused heavily on cig smoking and always featured leather and nylon-clad actors. Almost all the vids I have come across are only a minute or two in length, and generally feature one hitman or woman who skulks into a room and assassinates a lone victim with a suppressed pistol in a slow, ruthless, methodical fashion. These vids absolutely REEK of the noirs of the 40's.

I stumbled upon one of these vids a year or two ago and have been searching for more ever since. They are the cheesiest, sleaziest things I have ever seen, and for some reason I love them, lol! Sadly, they don't ever seem to have nudity, and most of the women are quite unattractive to my eye, but there are a couple foxes within their ranks.

In fact, a few of them are so spectacular to me that I have decided to give them their own reviews on my thread - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17473

Since they are long out of business, I would love to find another fan of these vids who has a stash they can share. I have no idea how many vids they made altogether, but I have come across a few dozen clips in my scouring of the internet, and I have no doubt that some are incomplete, since they are extremely short in length, and end abruptly.

I vaguely remember seeing ads for these films some time back.
Yes, I agree sleazy & cheesy is the right words and I usually like "Sleazy & Cheesy".
I never got around to look deeper into them when available. Sorry to say wish I can help you more.

That's ok, thanks for the thought, though. On another note, what can you tell me about the old Wave "Perforations" vid? Last night I began looking at the oldest postings in the Producers' Advertising Forum out of desperation trying to find something on those old Syldra vids.

In the process, I came across a bunch of chatter regarding Wave's "Perforations," and how a special edition double DVD was being released because it was apparently the "granddaddy of death fetish films" or something of the sort.
This was back in 2008 or so in the early days of this board.

I went to Wave's site, and sure enough, it's still there for sale. What I'm wondering is if it's really that good?

In my travels on the net, I remember stumbling across only a few small clips from that vid, and they always seem to be in poor resolution (forgivable due to the age of it), and often the audio track is not synched to the video for some reason. The blathering dialogue of the gentleman in an attempt to be humorous in the clips I've seen is unbearable to me, but the acting of the little waif in the yellow shirt in the one scene was absolutely spectacular. Are there more scenes with her prior to that?

The other small clips I've seen feature girls that didn't seem attractive, but if there are 2 whole DVDs of footage, that's several hours of content. Can you tell me what all is on there, with some screencaps perhaps? I just want to be sure what I'm getting into before I shit out $30 on 30 year-old content. Sadly, there are NO preview pics or anything on the site. Hard to believe, given it's allegedly such a legendary title. Thanks a bunch for any info you can share!

Well yes, "Perforations" is a oldie but its still a goodie to me.
It was the very first purposely produced death fetish movies I bought back in the early-mid 90's.
Funny though I loved all the death scenes except the last one, even though the girl in yellow
done the best acting!!! However... she was not one of my favorite body types.
Since then 98, I got to meet and befriend Gary from W.A.V.E. and also produced a video myself.
In 1998 he done "Play Dead" for me.
I know now almost all his stuff is now old and dated... but some of his titles still are entertaining
and I still enjoy watching them.
