I haven't been able to find the original video, but that's from a martial arts TikTok account and the person behind it demonstrates how to escape from situations like that. I seriously doubt he wouldn't be using anyone other than adults in his videos for safety reasons.

I have that creator on my TikTok feed. Been watching his content since at least 2020, all seems legit and fun.

I would not have assumed she was underage just by looking at her. She appears to be in her twenties. She definitely looks older than my stepdaughter, and she's twenty-three.

Just saw it. Yes, she may be of age. The clip does look harmless, even though it's not really appropriate for this site, since how many 'girls' actually come here to learn how NOT to get strangled?

Besides, when Bluestone villains strangle women with a garotte, they wrap it around once or twice and then this technique wouldn't work to extricate the victim.

The first girl's big mistake is not wearing her seat belt.
If you're driving along and somebody tries to strangle you from behind, stomp on the gas, then steer into an obstruction. And watch your assailant fly through the windshield. But this technique doesn't work if you're not wearing your seat belt.

16 and 17 year olds are able to get a full license (with some restrictions) in the United States, though many wait until 18 or later as it’s easier to get a license then, and insurance is a bit cheaper.

So the fact that they are able to drive is no indicator of their age.
