which is definitely recommended. If you don't already
have this excellent, free video player, you can get it

The upgrade mentioned above fixed some minor glitches that I never encountered. It's possible they only occurred with some operating systems. However, I just discovered that this upgrade adds a major new feature to GOM. It is now possible to watch AVi and DIVX (an AVI variant) videos as they are being downloaded!
If you're into instant gratification (like me) and you have a broad band connection, start the download and wait three to five minutes. Then click the icon of the downloading video. If your internet connection is fast enough, you'll be able to watch the entire video as it downloads. Woohoo!
Unfortunately this doesn't apply to other video formats. Boohoo.

View as you download now also works with WMV.
