Yes, and the eyes need to be open as well, otherwise she might just be choked out. It's also always nice to see her neck checked for a pulse, and after an appropriate close-up of the death stare, the killer can close her eyes if desired. Another nice intimate touch that I love, is for the heroine to die with some hair in her face, and for the killer to gently brush it aside before checking for a pulse, etc.
I always stop Ultrawoman 3 right after she's fallen off the couch. Let her stay DEAD!

I'm OK with hanging in there for the chloroform KO and strangulation in costume, but I stop when she dies there.
