Starring the sexy Melanie Dunne!
Trailer:
Released tomorrow!
This one really highlighted the "girlish" aspect of Melanie's run as Supernova. She was cute, sassy, and doomed. Sometimes you want a kick-ass heroine, holding her own until she's overwhelmed by some deceit or devastating force. Other times, you might want to see a naive, young innocent thrown too soon into the battle, destined only for defeat. That was Melanie, perhaps illustrated best by the devastatingly brutal contrast of "Doomsayer". Here, the sight of her helplessly struggling between two villains as they pulled the lasso tight around her sexy neck was a delightful image!

Each in their own way brought wonderful elements to the character. As I've said elsewhere, Melanie brought the perfect sense of vulnerability to the character. Almost like the co-eds from the slasher movies of the 70s. She goes in all confident and cocky, but you just knew from the beginning that she didn't have a prayer! This was probably best personified by her utter destruction in Doomsayer.
Danica had, perhaps, the finest pair of legs in the role, though Sienna gives her a pretty good run for her money there! Jenny and Rebecca probably have the best bodies of the group, and Melody was magnificent for her body, facial expression (incl. crossed eyes) and being the only brunette to play the role offered a wonderful contrast.
IMO Melanie Dunne is the best Supernova you have used to date in the role. She was beautiful, clever and sassy in the role, but she also made the character younger, less experienced and above all more vulnerable. Which made her defeats (and deaths in the extreme versions) a lot more telling.
