My Review of "Agent is Strangled in Her Car"

Post by Nyghtfall »

I know I decided not to start writing reviews again, but this video is so bad that I can't keep quiet about it.

I just bought a copy of Agent is Strangled in Her Car, a new video by Crime House (Dark Rooms) studio, and am very disappointed.

The screenshots got me so hard I pre-ejaculated. I couldn't wait to fund my NicheClips account. The studio nailed every one of my fetish points:

* Sexy career woman in a skirt suit and heels (I prefer knee-length skirts instead of mini-skirts, but was too excited to care. I haven't seen a culmination of my favorite elements like this in ages.)
* Masked killer dressed in black
* Car strangling - One of my favorite scenarios
* Victim attacked from behind with a garrote and kept pulled against the headrest until dead

And then I started watching it...

My first clue that something was off was when the killer used a Butcher's knife to unlock the rear door. Being a stickler for details, I immediately started wondering what else they fucked up on.

After the woman comes out and climbs into her car, she's not attacked with the garrote straight away. She takes a moment to put her glasses on, and appears to wait for the killer's cue to strike. The killer then slowly brings the knife around while she's idly staring out the windshield. The knife catches her attention, and she bats it out of his hand as if shooing a fly away. We're then shown a brief shot of the knife on the pavement before the camera cuts back to one of the weakest garrote attacks I've ever seen - the killer casually slips the rope over her head and pulls her back against the seat. There are two things wrong with this sequence, both from a production and editing standpoint:

* The moment she bats the knife out of the killer's hand, the camera cuts to a shot of the two actors still in position before quickly panning down to the knife. I get that the studio was trying to build a bit of suspense, but this just looked like a poorly done dry rehearsal that was put in the final video.

* In the very next shot, after cutting away from the knife, the killer already has the garrote in his hands and loops it over her head. I called bullshit at that point, and would've needed Viagra to get hard again. The woman could've easily made her escape after batting the knife away because the killer's hand was still hanging out the driver side door during the pan on the knife.

Unfortunately, with the exception of two or three relatively decent shots, the video got worse after that. Safety should always be paramount, but when a garrote has enough slack in it to ruin the suspension of disbelief in a model's performance, there's simply no way to salvage the viewing experience without further editing. Worse for me, because of how the transition from knife to garrote was filmed and edited, I can't do anything with the video for my own pleasure. We also get a few wide shots, during which we barely see anything except the model's leg sticking out of the door.

On a positive note, kudos to the producer for having the killer leave a disheveled corpse after exposing a really nice rack.

If you've got $11 burning a hole in your pocket, I suggest you save it for something else and enjoy the screenshots.
