I only remember Raven from PKF and the unfortunate implication that she faked cancer.

I too remember that cancer scare, but it was over ten years ago. Several people debunked it because it should have been fatal (stage 4, metastic, inoperable) -- but who knows what really happened. Sadly, it may have served only to foreshadow her actual demise from a different cause. I was a fan of hers and always regretted not commissioning a custom project with her when she was doing peril videos.

I recall she appeared in Playboy in their final page highlights segment, and apparently she was well established in the adult entertainment industry at the time of her death. As for our community, she did most of her death fetish films not for PKF, but for Casualties of Horror (long gone, sad to say). It's no secret she married the COH producer after he separated from Paris Kennedy (talk about a man with good taste), and I think Raven had a child with him. I'm not a fan of pregnant victims, but Raven was game for anything and some of the COH videos feature her at six months or more. Others are among the most extreme peril-death films I've seen.

I'm not sure if she was still with the former COH owner (who now runs a glossy femme-fight outfit) but I seem to recall their marriage did not last.

Raven... RIP.

I think at the time of the scare, she was not with him. I think they reconnected after she left the relationship she was in at that time. But again, that was all years ago.

As for the scare, I try to put that whole thing out of my mind whenever I can, because it makes no sense to me. She didn't keep the donations. They all went to children hospitals. I think most of them went to St. Jude's. So there wasn't a financial motive to fake it. Most of the allegations also came from her ex (not the COH producer, but the other one)...who I assume was the one taking her to treatments. So was he just...dropping her off and then fucking off for several hours until she called him to pick her up?

...But, that said...you don't beat stage 4 cancer with herbal rememdies...

The whole thing is a confusing clusterfuck. So I just choose to remember her being an adult entertainer that seemed to take pride in actually being a performer. An actress. A skill she took from her time with us into her mainstream roles. And to the Howard Stern Show. I performer that always seemed to put 110% into everything she did.

I do remember that stage 4 cancer revelation about her more than anything, and then her 'miraculous recovery'. At the time there was a lot of talk of a mis-diagnosis (which is possible, I guess) or her tests being confused with somebody else's (which sure as hell happens a lot over this side of the Pond! It is more common than you thnk!) but Raven certainly made no money out of it, all the cash she received she passed on to children's charities.
I also recall she did a few mainstream roles, but I can not specifically remember any of them - does anyone know of them? Or if she did any PB soft-porn material?

She was in a lot of XXX parodies. The one I remember most is she played Michael Meyer's sister in the Halloween parody. The one that gets killed at the beginning. I think she and Paris Kennedy also did a few lesbian films for Digital Playground?

Do not visit much here anymore. Too much negative stuff going on. I'm seeing the news (old) about Raven just this evening, and thinking of her family and friends. Very sad as many of us will agree that 35 is too young, and it is surprising to lose someone that age to that disease. Tragic. When this all started this was simply entertainment, and nothing seemed too serious. I'm nursing some young birds at the property, and they are all flying. I will name one Raven.
