Main Stream Requests?

Hey all,

Daria and I have been playing around with video content. While I still suck at shooting, I thought it would be fun to get community involvement, while improving my skills. Win Win!

We'd like to shoot (short) popular mainstream deaths, with our own twist of course. We'll share the results here. To get the ball rolling, I'd like to do a poll. So, how do I start a poll?

I haven't created a poll on this board yet, so I don't want to mislead you.

I do want to say I'm crazy excited to see what kind of video material you come up with. Your actress is absolutely smokin' hot, and I would hope someday you might dabble in topless material.

As far as a mainstream movie scene suggestion - maybe take a stab at the shower scene in the original Psycho movie.

I don't know if you would consider this one mainstream or not, but you could try to recreate Jenefer Nelson's death scene from Satan's Blade.

or Karin Mani's death scene from Avenging Angel.

That scene may prove rather challenging considering it's a lift-up strangle. As I understand it, this crew is just Belial and Daria.

He's done a lift-up strangle before, so...it's possible that they can do it.

I presume your definition of 'mainstream' is limited to studio-driven titles that are oft-found on streaming sites like Amazon and Netflix. Nevertheless, I thought I'd suggest something a little off the beaten path but still produced for mainstream viewers.

Over the last couple years I've found a few death scene gems in 'Halloween' fan films on YT. I have two key favorites but one of them involves a butcher's knife. The other is a couch suffocation that I would love to see Daria's take on. It's from a fan flick called The Shape Stalks and the suffocation is on my clip site.

I'd love to see Daria as a business woman home from a long day at work, still in her skirt, blouse, and sheer pantyhose (barefoot), watching TV or reading something when she's attacked by you playing a home intruder and suffocated the same way. I figure you can film separate shots of her toes pointing and kicking, and splice them in with her reaction shots as she struggles to breath.

Dark red nail polish would be huge bonus.

The only criticism I have about the fan film is the top-down angle on the actress's feet. I'd prefer something like this:

Fave Barbara Carrera in I the Jury
The body jerk, surprise in the eyes. Followed by the limp drop to the floor.
The final plea in her eyes. Before full death pose.

Strangle scene from Frenzy .. Yeahh been done good amount.
Still each persons interpretation of it, ads something new.
