Well for Supernova getting killed perhaps being choked to death with a bar of kryptonite(or whatever this version is called). Or perhaps stabbed with a sharpened version of it. And even if Supernova wins Darkwing could have a contingency plan that if she dies her belt shoots out lethal levels of a kryptonite gas that kills her.
As for Darkwing... getting her neck broken by Supernova... strangled by hand... strangled with her own cape...

We all enjoy differentt hings and I think you will actually enjoy the peril version of Supernova because as you say Danica is in it is a rollercoater with some good "girl p[ower" scenes in it, I think you will love the opening sequence it is great!

Have to say I am all for Supernova's body being pierced with something, once her skin is pierced she know, we all know, she is in serious danger.

I'd love something like this:
Danica starts in her civilian identity and reads on the paper (or watchs in the tv, whatever) about the adventures of Darkwing. Then she changes into Supernova and goes to question her.
They argue and Darkwing doesn't trust Supernova and her incredible powers, so they fight! Supernova overpowers easily Darkwing, but when Darkwing is in the verge of defeat, she tricks somehow Supernova into opening a lead chest or something that she has kept just in case. Supernova opens it, but to her dismay it contains a kryptonite necklace. And, since I assume there's gonna be a strangulation scene, Darkwing could strangle Supernova with it.

I think it would make sense for Darkwing to acquire Novanite in case Supernova becomes a threat to her mission of vigilantism. Perhaps a Novanite-powered electrocution trap? Or Novanite-laced gloves/costume with which she can pummel Supernova? Sort of like the Batman armor that he used to fight Superman in the Miller Dark Knight mini-series.
As far as Darkwing's defeat in addition to broken neck or strangulation maybe she could get knocked into a sharp object in the heat of battle?
Needless to say the victor would be wracked with guilt.
Thanks for the great ideas. I was thinking of Darkwing having a lead-lined pocket in her utility belt. When Supernova accosts her, thinking this will be an easy takedown, Darkwing pulls out brass knuckles studded with Novanite! Then, DW can go toe to toe with SN. This is very similar to some of the suggestions, but I doubt that DW would fashion a Novanite necklace to strangle Supernova with, but she can certainly strangle her while wearing the brass knuckles.
I am also trying to work in a chloroforming scene. The villain that DW is chasing when SN interrupts the chase is knocked out, but can revive when the girls have almost knocked each other out, and chloroforms one or both of them... or in the extreme version, kills one or both of them.
Thoughts?

Well, the novanite necklace would be just a security measure in case Supernova turns rogue or something like that, not something DW would wear...
Anyhow, your plot sounds great, but please include a scene with Danica in her civvies, wearing glasses and her hair up, before opening her blouse to reveal her Supernova outfit.

I know a lot of the Superheroine fans love chloro, personally I'm a bit Meh on this. Can the villain be a Joker/Harley Quinn sort of homicidal maniac? Maybe have one of both die by gunshot?

Hello again guys, thank you for the warm welcome :) My apologies for not quoting you properly, I'm writing from an iPad and quoting is a bit tricky. But thank you very much!
I managed to download and watch Supernova ep.1! It really shows this is something "else", effect and production quality are near very high budget productions, and by very high I mean in the millions of dollars range. If I were a Hollywood producer, I'd hire you guys right away. When we first see Supernova powers, strength and durability (ie, first half of the clip) I was in a bliss.
Danica was great, yet very different from her previous appearances on superheroine clips. Her hair was darker and she was wearing much less make up than usual. I guess that was her idea since she had the same look in her latest Loaded photoshoot. That, and the serious tone concerning Supernova, made Danica look wiser somehow.
Some other random thoughts (it's ok if you don't care): the bald guy could act in a Hollywood movie without feeling out of place; background music was great, it reminded me of Jack Wall (Mass Effect) with a hint of Hans Zimmer; the only thing I'm not particularly happy about is the length of the opening and closing credits: they're very cool and professional-looking but they take up a third of the clip total length. No big deal though :)
As for the future, I'm very glad to hear Danica will be back again! I hope you'll keep her alive for me :P

Just wanted to say that I'd love and definitely buy a clip in which Supernova kills Darkwing. It's ok if there's a real fight with both girls struggling to win, no matter how violent each blow is. But if Danica wins, and I mean actually wins (ie, she doesn't get KO'd by someone else after beating Darkwing), it's a no brainer. I wouldn't mind any peril scenes if Danica wins in the end :)
