I always raise a toast to Petra for New Year's. Having worked with loads of beautiful and talented women over the past 10+ years, I can definitely say that Petra is the absolute best of them all! I continue to dream Petra dreams on a constant basis, and probably will for the rest of my life! By the way, she is enjoying her New Year's Day with her family! We continue to keep in touch.

I'd love to tell her about this award, if she wins!

You can officially congratulate her, Blue! Out of close to 100 names put forth for nomination by the community, and 42 of those that received votes for induction into the Death Fantasy Hall of Achievement, Petra came in second (behind only author/artist Freemike). The top five vote getters made it into the Hall, so Petra cruised in with support here, at FetNoir, and from individuals all around the community who sent me their votes via the boards, PM and Email.

I was so happy to hear the news about Petra, that I just had to call her.

I visualize that she was headed out to a New Year's afterparty when the phone rang. I started out slowly...
"Pet, you won't believe what your fans have done for you..."
She was all anticipation.
"What, Blue? They've found another way to ruin my lovely wardrobe... maybe with exploding bullets this time?"

Then, that lovely, gentle laughter...
