My memory plays tricks on me these days, but I seem to recall that there were one or two "hitman" type stories that he did. They resonated with me at the time, and I had them in a file for the longest time, then somehow misplaced them...

Sorry G and llhuydd for not thanking you guys sooner for posting and sharing artwork from the master of female disaster!
Like you guys I also immensely enjoyed James McQuade illustrated fantasies of erotic and violent female death scenes.
His "Shoot & Screw" scenarios I thought were his best! Back in the days before video recording his art and maybe some Men's & Detective Mags and some times ERRIE, CREEPY, VAMERELLA and, CONAN was just about the only stuff around to get you to any kind launch sequence as Raymond would say. (Everybody Loves Raymond) So thanks again guys for keeping James art alive.

Hi There,
The picture comparison below I posted about five years ago and I can not remember where.
Anyway... Since I feel for or was smitten by James McQuade's Misty character back in the early 90's
I thought his depiction of what his blond bombshell should look like was literally the same as mine.
Then when I first laid eyes on Petra first when she was a regular on when "John A" owned the Annabelles'
site back in late 90's, I thought Petra was Misty incarnate!!!
So again looking at my comparison below I still think Petra is Misty in the flesh.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

Here are three more McQuade comics I dug out of the archives. These books are long out of print and are extremely rare.
Thanks for scanning and sharing these, Ilhydd! "The Hellfire Queen" I purchased at an adult bookstore many years ago. It was my first exposure to McQuade and is very brutal. "Misty" is better known, but much milder in subject matter. I have corresponded with McQuade for years and he has done some "cover comps" and other commissions for me. He is a true icon of the genre.
Who would think a seductive & exotic comic book character like Misty can get one (and me) excited! And since you posted that comparison picture G (Misty & Petra). You got me to see Petra to be even more stimulating now after you showing that
that uncanny comparison on how much they look alike. So, I do not know if to thank you or curse yah. LOL : )

being the living doppelganger of Misty.
Yes, I certainly do!
