Thanks for the comments.

So I have taken the plunge and have posted some pics over in the Video & Image part of the forum. Below is the link:

Let me know what you think, but please be gentle ;-)

To answer a few of your comments, I think I've seen one of those Teen Bat movies with that actress and I enjoyed it from memory. Teen Bat 1 remains probably my favourite (it holds a special place in my heart because it was the first movie of this type I saw). I also really like Teen Bat 6 because I have a bit of a girl crush on that actress

Noted on the carry pic point. I might just buy a tripod off amazon as I think they are pretty cheap these days anyway. I guess it depends if people like my pics enough to continue!

I'm not sure on the fight poses to be honest! I don't own any prop guns or knives, and worry a bit about using a real knife to take photos in case it all goes a bit wrong

Thank you so much. My legs are pretty much the only part of my body I like!

I will have a look in a minute at the other thread, aznheroine
However, if you and your boyfriend want to get serious with the 'Teen Bat' Cosplay, then you can pick up some really good fake 'theatrical prop' knives out there on Amazon, E-Bay etc. They do not cost that much and a lot of amateur theatrical groups use them in their productions. Same with a prop gun, although these days a lot of them come with orange tips on the muzzle to show that they are fake props solely for acting purposes - Michelle over at Chokechamber used to use those a lot.

And a little acrylic paint would clear that orange tip right up.
