Putting in my 2 cents. I appreciate what Darling Dalila had to say and her heroic efforts to fulfill professional responsibilities to a paying client. I echo the sentiment. It's really the only way to handle things with integrity. My normal effort to please a custom customer is almost OCD as desire meets creativity along with a powerful driving force to succeed. I usually have given more than asked in this regard. I kind of can;t help it. It's my Leo nature.

Customs I've done was "Mob Hit", "Escort Strangle", "Murder Up Close" and "Dead Cat". In the case of Dead Cat the client wanted 45 minutes of film. I gave him an hour and a half. Why skimp, I had the footage. Same with the others. If I can do more than asked I'd rather.

I feel very fortunate and honored when asked to do a custom. Heck, I'm honored folks like what I produce. I love what other producers create. I aspire to their quality. And I love a challenge. Coming from an art background where I'm self trained to meet a creative deadline It's an easy transition of attitude to the fun and fabulous film features of sexy female demise.

JohnM wrote:astrokill--I too wanted to comment on the customs you have done. The ones that I have seen were great. I know you contacted me for a project once, but it just did not seem right for my small studio location. I know PT rent homes as well as uses homes that are currently on the market--probably through a real estate agent hook up, and that is just perfect for these scenarios.

If my situation changes, I will let you know. In the mean time, I look forward to seeing your projects as I can afford to purchase them.

Thanks,

Thanks John! I love a lot of your work as well. :D It's a gratifying feeling to have a producer love a custom co-created by a fan of this genre. It's almost like Scorese commenting that he likes a little-known indie crime noir film, it's flattering.
