The Brides of the Monk
Brother Adolphus is feeling lonely and in need of female companionship. But, she must be, of course, "pure". For Brother Adolphus, only in death is there purity.
First he pays a call on Candle, who is staying in Tricia's apartment. Tricia was special, his first victim. Candle has been dreaming of Tricia's death and when the Monk appears at the door, she faints dead away. While she is out, the monk strips her and carries her to the site of the 'wedding'. Candle is gloriously purified by strangulation with one of her stockings while bound in a chair. Her body is placed in a coffin. Mallory appears next, looking for her friend Candle who mentioned that she was going to the Monastery to learn more about Tricia's death. But, Mallory ends up standing nude while a noose is slipped around her soft white neck. After Mallory is purified by hanging her nude body is taken down and carried out and she is last seen in the arms of Brother Adolphus, en route to the wedding chamber.
