I love blondes,weather its real or from a bottle. Just something about it makes me crazy. Its funny because a girl I know was a redhead,next time I saw her she was blonde,and I had to do a double take and start talking to her.

I agree with you on the 'before' photo of Amy Winehouse to the right, but the 'after' photo (just before her untimely death) to the left is just a study in how a woman can totally destroy her looks by abusing drugs and stamping her body with ugly tattoos. In that 'after' photo, she doesn't look desirable to me at all.

I'll agree Amy Winehouse is startlingly unattractive in the latter picture - drugs and, I would guess, an eating disorder on top of that have destroyed the poor thing. On the other hand, I don't mind tattoos at all - throw the tattoos on the before picture and she's still just as attractive, and take them off the later picture and she's still just as "yikes!".

*Racist* is a pretty loaded word, there. Certainly "race" (a very loosely defined thing to begin with) does effect appearance... I'm not proud to admit it, but if something as little as eye color can effect what draws my eye, something as physically effecting as race can too. Alas, what is beautiful is always going to be an area where equality does not get it's fair due. That said, I have dated, and found very beautiful, members of nearly all races. But I have skewed noticeably towards certain groups above others, overall.

But then, races are not hair colors, and don't really apply to the debate here - all the races you described there are typically brunettes. A discussion of what *race* people prefer might be ok in theory (or I guess, no more not-ok than judging people based on hair?), but I'm not sure it sounds like a very good idea in practice.
