In your opinion and I did not say it was bad I said it was too short.G-Man wrote:No...!!!
Not at all.
I will try to explain something...
A shooting scene does not have to be long to be good. (well very quick I admit is also no good)
On the contrary as long as it has good flow or follow through and of course the victim looks good, camera angles, reactions, editing exc, exc...
if all the pieces fit... then that's all is needed.
To put it another way... any reasonable amount of time put in the length of a death scene is fine as long as it pushes all your buttons .
Any way the length of the shooting was fine... for I prefer a great shorter scene then a lame long drawn out one that does not fit the action/reality.
O.K. to put it one more way...
Any good shooting death scene that lasts 10 seconds or more is fine!!!
For like most of us know... one can just "loop" any great scene on their video player.
Which I do most often!!!![]()
Of course I can loop it I can do anything I want to it with my software but why should I.
Director B I did explain what I wanted/hoped to see in a shooting and as I said it is a good video but I am a superheroine fan and in my opinion based on what I like the lovely ladies are fading away too quickly for my liking.
I said it was a great little scene but it is very short when compared to a strangle, yes obviously a strangle takes longer.
I was excited about the shooting because WA's are hard to kill unless strangled and well clearly bullets are equally as lethal in this case.
