And as for peril, have her beaten up and half throttled by the bad guys, completelyout of her depth as usual, and then finish her off with a nice headshot

With how big and imposing the Doomsayer actor is, this would be a good opportunity to slip in a bearhug or an over the knee backbreaker. Doomsayer (OK the actor playing him) is just so big, hulking and imposing that he can basically do anything to Supernova/Melody and she is virtually powerless by comparison.
I really like the idea of her punching him as hard as possible, to very little effect. And then he gives her the look of : 'Was that your best shot, lady?'
