I am curious. What is it that you have coming up after this?

We have an Amazon video coming up next. We will start a new thread for it early in the week.

She's a great and plucky heroine for sure, Director B, and I'd love to see her back in a follow-up movie. But please, change those boots to even black (or white!)
And, if you do make a sequel, I'd love to see her armed with a knife, or a gun o fsome kind, which she is quite capable of using against the bad guys.

Yep, the yellow boots are out and yes, she will return!

Excellent movies are ones you keep and re-watch, sometimes for years. I have videos in my library that are (can you believe it) decades old. Is "Night Warrior" one of those videos? No. Was it an OK video? Sure.

My specific feedback, albeit predictable, is that sidekicks should be younger, not older. When Teen Bat from "Teen Bat 5" says her fellow sidekicks would avenge her, an older mentor isn't what I had in mind. I felt baited and switched on this one.

A while back, I did a survey regarding the ideal age of the heroine. Here are the results:

Putting that peccadillo of mine aside, these videos are starting to abandon the narrative structure underpinning this genre: overconfident superheroine comes close to winning, which feeds her ego, before she is defeated and humiliated. The first half of the formula seems to have been thrown out the window.

Am I wrong?

By the way, the abovementioned survey remains open!

I agree 100% with your "narrative structure", it is the better way to create the sexiest adventure. But how about using contrast too (+ and - ) ?

Should the villainess or the villain be ugly, twisted mentally, dirty and repulsive ? Or the reverse ?
