I actually prefer the single bullet shot to the forehead myself.
A nice compromise would be if she is half-throttled to death first in her appartment, say for information or missing vital data/info that just happens to be on a hidden USB. With the promise, of course, that if she hands it over she will be allowed to go scot free. But, of course, once the perp has the USB, he takes out a silencer and puts a single bullet right between her astonished, horrified eyes.
