Nice to see a superheroine costume that isn't bullet or melee-proof....

I'm sure it will sell well, but if it doesn't, I hope that doesn't affect the Danica movies, that wouldn't be fair. Honestly, I think this one shouldn't even be called Supernova, it should start its own franchise.
Eagerly awaiting Supernova vs. Darkwing!
Well, I must respectfully disagree. Superkick is a vital part of the Supernova franchise, and its success will ensure that the franchise continues. The converse is also true.
If you don't like masked superheroines, fine, though she isn't masked for the entire video. There will be an unmasking in this video... and it may be permanent.

I think I didn't express myself correctly before. What I don't like is the whole concept of masked heroines. Girls without any superpowers who disguise themselves and learn some martial art, like Batgirl or Catwoman. However I can see that a lot of people here like that. In fact your best selling character is Darkwing. To each, his own, I guess. So I'm sure Superkick will work great for you.
And I believe that a movie like this one, with a different character and a different actress, shouldn't affect The Supernova saga. In my opinion, you should look at the sales of the 2 first episodes with Danica to make that decision. But, obviously, it's your money and you can do whatever you like.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I'm just a big Supernova fan slightly dissapointed with the delay of the next installment. I'd like a new Supernova movie each week!! :)

No, I don't take it the wrong way. To each his own. Some like masked and some don't.
I have indeed looked at the sales of the first two Supernova episodes. Hopefully, the Darkwing vs. Supernova videos will sell better. I can make top quality productions weekly, but only if the sales warrant it. To date, they don't. So, I've decided to shake things up a little. TeeJay doesn't have Danica's name, but she has her stats and she goes Danica one better by doing topless. "Enter Superkick" is an all-out action film that has it all! If it doesn't re-energize the Supernova franchise, nothing will. So, if anyone wants the Supernova franchise to continue, it would be best that they support each and every episode of the series.
Just sayin'

You say Danica's vids didn't sell as well as expected. As the introduction of Superkick seems to suggest you might feel this is partly because Danica won't do topless, I'm curious to know whether Wondra 2 and 3 sales were low too and if so, whether you believe this is also because the admittedly STUNNING Emma G no longer wanted to appear topless either?

There are some many elements that go into liking/disliking a film, that in my humble opinion, I don't know if conclusions can be drawn about viability from one or even a couple of films (but recognizing that I'm not the one forking over cash to make these). Superkick is a good example. I'm a huge fan of Supernova, but there are several elements of this one that aren't normally what I go for. I'm not saying I won't buy it - the trailer shows it has the same Bluestone high quality as the previous episodes - but it will at least require a decision. I never write off a production based on one element (like those who won't buy a video solely because the heroine does/does not wear pantyhose), but this one does have some elements that take it out of what is normally my wheelhouse.
Please don't take me wrong - I'm not saying this doesn't look like an excellent production. It's just that the fact that it features a Supergirl-ish looking costume doesn't mean everyone will view it the same way that they view Supernova.

That's exactly what I meant. In my opinion, they are completely different films.
Now, if Supernova didn't sell as well as Blue expected (I thought it was very successful, since several versions of the movie are in the top 20 in GV), and it's because of the lack of toplessness, I would vote for a change of actress (even though I love Danica). Anything to save the franchise!!

Thanks for your comments, guys, and I am taking all of them into account. Did Supernova sell well? Yes! It sold very well compared to other videos. Did it sell well enough to justify the cost of producing it? Not quite. Will we lower our production values as a result? No. We want to continue to produce the same quality as we have been producing. So, perhaps it was the marketing. Perhaps, it was the pantyhose.
Perhaps, it was the actress. Who knows, but I'm intent on finding out. Of course, we have to look at other options before we make any final decisions. So, Superkick and The Darkwing crossover will tell the tale. I will be looking very closely not just at sales, but at how we can better market them. Most longtime FF members know that I talk very candidly on this board. They also know that I don't do these videos for a living. I do them because I enjoy them and I do them for you, the customer. Not looking for huge profits, or even profits at all, but not looking to lose money either. So, there has to be a balance. I will do my part and make sure all of these productions are first rate. Hopefully, there will be a sufficient customer base to support these projects, because I'd love to do another 10 or more Supernova videos!

Can you comment on my Wondra question and the future of that franchise and actress? Thanks

Sure. This is another feature that I am trying to gauge. Did Wondra 1 sell better than either Wondra 2 or 3 because Emma had a topless scene in the first episode, but not in the others? Superkick is partially in response to this question. Personally, I think that toplessness is not required for a video to sell, but it seems to give it a lift. Yvonne and TeeJay will do topless. Emma and Danica won't. Therefore, what do the fans really want? Well, that's why we have forums like these... and that's why I read and consider what is posted here and on the other forums. What does everyone else think on this issue?
Take into account that I can continue to shoot with both Danica and Emma. It's just a matter of whether their work will be supported with more sales than a video with a topless Yvonne or TeeJay. Once again, no decision has been made as of yet on the future of either franchise, but I'd certainly like to continue both of them if the customer support is strong.
