My favorite non-topless Ultrawoman episode by far! My favorite actress chloroformed in pantyhose and heels, hand strangled to death in same (with some groping). Then watching her chloroform Samantha in her own costume, only to be beaten down and knocked out with a kick to the head and then garrote strangled to death in costume. This was an excellent video! One of the reasons that Melanie was so wonderful is that she really put the "girl" in the "supergirl" type character. She looked young, inexperienced, and vulnerable, all classic elements of the damsel in distress, and in this case, the nature of the final struggle allowed us to focus exclusively on her loss, while minimizing the distraction of the villains causing it. This was a nice element, and perhaps foreshadowed the constricting collar, and certainly perfected by Lynda with the self-constricting garrote! One thing about Melanie is that she was really the classically "pretty" girl. Not just sexy, though she is that, but every aspect of her felt perfectly matched and proportioned. Her look really fit the character, perhaps more so than any actress before or since.

One of those where I bought both versions for the enjoyment of watching Killer Watt lose... I only wish it had been a fatal ending for her!
