I really loved this one! The approximately 2 mins of fight at the beginning quickly gave way to her being dominated, and I love both hand-choke sequences. The deliberate use of positioning her neck on the couch arm is always nice, but the floor strangle gave us the better back arching and I always love when the heroine loses the fight and her hands fall to her side, or even better above her head, as the did here. It signals that she's surrendered.
Particularly effective is when he released his grip, telling her "Not yet" and we get several seconds of the view of her laying there panting as she tries to get her breath back. The message is clear that she's done, and her fate is sealed. One minor continuity issue is that in our last overhead view before he released her, her breast was still covered, but the wide-angle immediately after showed her breast out, it's always nice to either see the villain pull the costume open, or to watch as the costume slowly fails.
I liked that he told her, just before removing her mask, that he wanted to see her face, before she died. Of course, we already knew he was going to kill her, but I always like the villain to confirm the fact to the heroine, particularly in a moment when it's already been made clear that she can no longer do anything about it! That she had already reached that point was confirmed by how docile she remained as he slowly gathered her up in his arms and stood there a moment looking her over before dropping her on his knee, crushing any shred of hope she may have retained.
The appearance of the garrote announced the shift from defeat, to execution. My one critique of this moment was a missed opportunity to include a plea for mercy. One of my favorites came at such a moment in "Ultrawoman 5" when Lynda weakly begged, "No wait... please don't kill me." One delightful exchange from another video I have had two babes fighting and the defeated one, when she knew she was going to be killed, begged "Please don't kill me, I'm not ready..." and the other babe responded with "You're not ready? Well, there's nothing we can do about that now!" just before she snapped the doomed babe's neck! I love when the heroine insists that she won't be beaten, but I love it even more when she realizes that she has been and vocalizes that she doesn't want to die. That admission is the fullest defeat!
The length and intensity of the final strangle was just right. Her struggle was desperate, but feeble. She'd already exhausted her strength in the previous strangles and the knee drop. There was nothing she could do once the loop tightened. I loved her vocal effects, and the slow slide down his leg to her final position on the floor was wonderful!
The Moment of Death - camera angle, pose, facial expression, tightness of the garrote, the sweat on her neck and the single, hard nipple pointed straight up. The crack of her neck as he finished her. Her eyes looking desperately at her killer as if pleading to be spared. I'd be hard-pressed to cite a more perfect image!
D'Arcy can always be counted on for a beautiful death stare, and kudos to her for not changing her expression during the various pans of her body. So many times, the actress "dies" with her mouth partially open and then the next angle her mouth is closed, or her eyes go from open at the moment of "death" and are closed in another angle.
D'arcy has quickly become one of my favorite actresses, and only the sexy combination of Adele strangling Jade in Teenbat 1 keeps this from being my overall favorite of the Teenbat saga! I must also add that, absent a sexy female villain, Bill is my absolute favorite when a neck has to be crushed!
