Well, a little good news!

The "Silk 'N Blood" store is not officially re-launched with new material, but I am testing a PayPal payment option. It'll be easiest for those who are already registered with PayPal, but you will also be given the opportunity to join PayPal during checkout. Store is temporarily closed while I fix a bug with respect to emailed passwords. I made my first sale in 3 months, and I made sure that the customer got his purchase okay. The first sale was a Rachel Silver UKSG video. I'll announce here when my support department has fixed this bug... but the store will still re-open early so that I'm sure that everything works well before the major re-launch on Jan. 31st! The sale prices will also remain in effect to compensate customers for any bumps in the road as we pave the way for the BIG re-launch!

You can go ahead and buy now, and take advantage of the sale prices. I am testing the new store because it is completely different from the last one. Passwords are emailed. You don't have to register or login to buy. It is hacker-proof. I just want to get any bugs worked out while the traffic is slow, before the grand opening. To date, of the many orders that I've received only two customers had problems receiving their emailed passwords, and my techs have hopefully solved both problems, while I made sure that those two customers got the videos that they ordered. Once Jan. 31st hits with the brand new releases, the traffic will increase substantially. By then, the store should be bug free and running like a finely tuned engine. Fingers crossed!

descriptions could be a bit better. or a couple of action stills. Particularly with the UKSG stuff. I'm mainly into F/F. And the descriptions often don't mention the gender of the strangler. And just a headshot of the victim. doesn't give you much to go on

The store site has next to nothing for video descriptions by design, not by omission. The reason is that I want to fly under the radar on this site, since it's in the public domain. On Jan. 31st, as part of the store's official re-launch, my Silk Videos Promo site will return with more detailed descriptions and photo montages, such as the one below:

Another question. I was looking at the UKSG release thread. What ever happened to the scheduled release of "Rachel Silver vs Agent Miserie"? That might have been the last one scheduled for release before your store went down. I don't see it in your current listings. Was it ever released. And if not. When do you think we might see it available?

It is "Agent Jamie Silver vs. Miss Misery" and it will be the first UKSG Classic released after the store's fully functioning, i.e. Jan. 31st! Then, there will be UKSG Classics released on a regular basis after that. That video was indeed promoted and just about to be released in September when the store went down.

If everyone is wondering why I'm not kicking off the new store right now, it's because I don't want everything to be preempted again, if I lose PayPal. Having only one ebiller in place is not enough these days. This time when I re-launch the store, I want it to stay up for the long haul with a stable ebilling platform in addition to PayPal and other unstable ebilling providers!

Well, at least some people got some bargains and I got to test the new store out, but the evil PayPal shut down my account again and are holding my funds for 180 days with no appeal. This is what our community is up against. This is why I can no longer rely on the traditional payment methods. They no longer work for our type of content.

So, mark Jan. 31st, 2012 in your calendar!

Well, I've got my money back from them before, but 4 months is a long time to wait. For those who give phony name and address information when they open their PayPal account, they will never get their money it's true. Anyway, so much for that experiment. I knew that it was doomed to failure. It was just a matter of time, but the short time period that it took tells me a lot about the source of the problems in our community. The only question is: Are we being targeted from outside of our community, or from within? Time will tell the full tale.

Paypal has a long and sordid history of STEALING money. A simple google search reveals thousands of first hand testimony. What shocks me about this is the fact that they could verify personal info and determine what sort of business you run before deciding to do business...but that wouldn't be nearly as profitable as freezing accounts and redefining their policies ex post facto.
