Blue, I think he's what got me into the idea. Something about it just makes sense to me. The symbology of it is just overwhelming (and probably the most blatantly obvious of all the symbology in the genre), but I think it took seeing someone actually do it to make it click for me. I also liked the way Paul did things too. There might be nudity in his stuff, and women trying to seduce their killer from time to time to try to save themselves, but there wasn't much sex that I can recall, and a number of things involved with fully clothed women or stripping women during the killing process. He let the bullets and blades serve as the phallus, and the death serve as the orgasm, instead of needing to be blantant about it. Also, the number of consensual kills he did really makes me happy.

Man, I miss Paul so much. Twice before, I have written my opinion on this subject. It is a most definite yes. It is very important to remember that all of this is fantasy.
