Re Dark Widow vs Madam Medusa, love the idea of the two ripping each others clothes off during their catfight, are you sure the budget can't extend to a 3rd helpless victim to be executed by Madam Medusa?
If it can't, a good idea to get Dark Widow topless would be for Madam Medusa to strip her whilst she's tied up until she's topless and can then Madam Medusa can try applying electrodes to the nipples, that sort of thing... Nice bit of brutal torture to help loosen Dark Widow's tongue...

Personally I feel that the strangling thing's been overdone. What about an electrocution death? Maybe hang a kryptonite rock around Supergirl's neck and then give her the current?

Or how about a smothering? Somebody puts a kryptonite-laced glove over her mouth and nose and just lets her struggle and squirm...

That would be hot. Kryptonite bullets would work too.

Actually in the first issue of the John Byrne Superman series a bad guy shoots Supes with a kryptonite needle in the shoulder. Also, in the Smallville series a sniper shoots young Clark with a bullet cast from kryptonite.

Of the bad guy can fill the room with kryptonite gas/dust and poison Supergirl to death... Or weaken her enough where regular weapons could kill her.

Supergirl is supposed to be completely invulnerable other than for her known weakness to kryptonite, which a clever villain could definitely exploit. There are lots of weapons that could be made from, or at least laced iwth, kryptonite

Actually Supergirl/man also would lose powers under Red Sun radiation, which mimics that of their home planet of Krypton. They are also both powerless against magic. Also, in one of the incarnations of the Superman series prolonged exposure to kryptonite is also harmful to humans. Lex Luthor wore a pinky ring with a piece of kryptonite in it to keep Superman at bay, but he wound up getting cancer in his hand and had to have it amputated.

There could be a scenario where Master Mace has his lackeys handle the kryptonite and they unknowingly get sick and die shortly after defeating Supergirl...
