Re: Are we Porn?

Post by Dalila di Capri »

Jeffrey,

Very well said.

I can't think of anone here who wants Paul of KHP to go away and quit posting.

As for me, my intention is to combine art with sexuality and this particular fantasy.

That is my personal take on the situation. It may not entirely solve the problem but could at least help.

I am many things:

An Opera Singer (first and foremost)

An Actress

A designer

Sexy enough to pose nude

A dancer

A cook and homemaker who loves her husband and enjoys staying at home as much as being the public "Dalila".

I see no reason why I can't be all of these things, why I can't explore both my sacred and sexual sides, why I can't be a serious artist and a sex symbol.

Why should I be limited to one label?

So am I a porn actress? According to some standards I suppose so.

I also pray before I eat and give thanks to God for all I have.

I am a complete woman, and I would assert that we all have the right to be complete individuals.

PAUL AND KHP !!!!!

Paul first and foremost. I do not have time to sit down, and know who all is producer who is reading all posts who is not here or is. I do not know all the producers by company and name.
Nicheclips has so many of them now.

YOU I do, and had been a member of your site many times.
So obviously I do enjoy your work.
As far as misdirected ... much of your comments have been towards me as well.

You truly have NO clue or idea about me.

I am sorry you took my post so personally. That was never the intent.

The base idea of the post, was in effect. That the ladies enjoy much of this as well.
Yet some of it they do not.
They try and make a simple statement to the fact, and they are belittled, attacked or just ignored as not being worthy of being heard.

IF you had paid attention .. I GIVE idiot parents, and some of the video game crap out there, full credit, for youth growing up, and being violent.

NOT our fetish or the producers, as it IS produced for ADULTS.
So for the main part I withdraw or do not feel bad about the post.

I am sorry again, that you took it so against you, as honestly. Yours is one of the main produstions, I first enjoyed when getting into more mainstream fetish.

IT is some of the themes or elements out there, that I avoid, as I do not like them. So I can sympathize and understand in part, why the ladies would not enjoy or it concerns them seeing it out there as okay to show.

NOthing more or nothing less.
I in no way am interested in the little pissing and flame wars going on between producers and forum owners. So not taking sides in any of that.
The fact one producer stole part of the post to use in said issues, only ads to my dislike of them.

YOU and John, seem to have the best effects out there.
DALILA simply confidence and sensuality ... that is very pleasing, as she is stunned by her coming demise. Acting them out nicely all the time.
For different reasons, I enjoy things from different producers.
Yet I am enjoying it for and about the ladies.
Their beauty, acting and sexy demises what keeps me watching.

The ladies have MUCH to be heard from on this, as they can only add to the erotacism. Chances are very good, it turns them on, it will turn us on as well.

OK SO NO personal attack or issue with you in any way. YES please keep on doing what you are doing. I will admit you have a few things recent I would love to get, if new car payment didn't keep me so broke. LOL

Hope this clears things a little.
For me it is about the ladies, and they should be allowed to be heard on this, with out being made to feel secondary or unimportant.

Hey Storm, no worries.

For the record. I make all kinds of movies. Some are definitely misogynistic, but, they are meant to be that way. It is not for the purpose of making anyone feel bad, however. It is simply a plot construct. At root, all my movies are fantasy and should be self contained. They are targeted only at those who want to see them and not meant to make a statement of any sort and or for any other purpose other then entertainment. In all my years, almost 15, I have never received an email or communication from a custom that I felt was hateful toward women. In fact, I would call most of them appreciative of them and myself for bringing the stories to life.

That being said, I want to remind you just because I make these crazy movies, there definitely is no connection to my personal feelings in real life toward women.

In real life, I respect and admire all women. I was a photographer way before any of this, and my past and current work is all about capturing beauty of all women of all types. So while any plot constructs are done specifically for the purposes of the story, there is no, nor will there ever be, any actual malice toward women. Not only do all my models support my company, they are the very reason I exist and I respect and admire them and all women globally.

Thanks,
JohnM

Hi Storm,

A very nice post.

Thanks for clearing up your position personally.

I have had the pleasure of meeting John M in person.
I assure you all that he is a perfectly normal man who treated me with the utmost respect.

We had a very interesting conversation about our business, and yes the topic of "porn" did come up.

Not once did I have a feeling that I was being hated or objectified.

We make very different kinds of films, but clearly we are both in the business of erotic adult entertainment.

I would also submit to Paul that Storm has now indeed clarified his position and assured everyone that he was not attacking KHP, but rather thinks very highly of Paul's work.

Hopefully that will be enough for Paul to rejoin our board.

Thanks for initiating discussion on this topic, Dalila!

Certainly some people define porn as anything erotic that does not fit within the narrow confines of their personal mindsets. The "erotic death fetish" niche is something of an extreme fringe element in that it embraces the taboos of sexual stimulation and, simultaneously, takes the life of another person. Sad that those same people are incapable of separating fantasies from "real" life.

Should we ever meet, I could only enjoy it as one who has nothing but respect for you as an intelligent, forthright and articulate person. That you are incredibly attractive, naked or clothed, and appeal to my fantasies would merely be added benefit. The same would feeiings would apply to Kelli, Evangeline and any other women who have read or participated in this discussion.

There are many different approaches to satisfying those who are part of this community. While I may not patronise some of their niche works, I appreciate that they are here. And, hope their efforts provide funding for their continuing efforts.

PaulKHP, in particular is a great producer who has progressed in ways beyond belief. I know this as I've been a customer for years. Yep, I have clips purchased (on release) for the better part of a decade.

But Paul, some of the things said on this topic (and others) are not, nor have been, intended as attacks against you or your work. Please, stop playing the martyr; it's not all just about you. Yes, you have every right to defend yourself against legitimate attacks, but one needs to learn the difference between general criticisms and personal slights.

Work on that thin skin; the costs of all those bandaids is getting diverted from the production budget.

John;

You know in all honesty.

I think what you posted in your reply.
Actually was exactly the kind of thing, Kelli may have been needing or looking for.
That nobody seemed to do, when she voiced her concerns.

So that being said, I hope she will see this, and it may help soothe her as well.

Kelli, Dalila .. ladies.
Never doubt, for me. Being called by two ladies as incredible, intelligent, and talented as you, as a friend.
Is a great honor and priveledge for me.
