Rules about using pictures.

Hello everyone,
So, this post is pretty self-explanatory: what are the rules concerning using pictures in a story, poll, or just a regular post? Is it ok if I just search for a picture of a popular actress on the internet and insert it directly into a story, to give my readers an idea of what a character looks like (as long as the actress in question is 18 or over, of course)? Any restrictions or other rules I should know about?
