Suggestions for improvement???

So, the FF forum is defintely here to stay. Now, what we have to do is make whatever improvements will make it an even better place for community members to hang out. In this regard, what would you like to see on this forum that would make it your main comfort zone in our wild and wacky fetish world?

Congradulations on a great year..Noticed on the silken thread that you have over 40 videos filmed .If possible and if you have the editing time more posting of these products in a series PPV or members bonus or exclusives would be great.For eg. this week we have 2 short breath vids .Am glad for those fans but with producers cutting back its nice to have shootings or multiple scenarios that fill out the month.Fans will probably pay in someway for this continuity,and the customs become revenue.For eg put up the Melina nude Bath shooting and see if its a money maker .Run it somewhere again as a serial bonus.sort of mix and match but dont have members upset since they know its a special..Even if some dont meet your standards reduce the PPV price or put 2 together. These comments are probably like congress dealing with the experts. Your doing a great job and its only going to get better ..Great site...

I regret to point it out, but it's good to know that a registered user can filter-out all posts by any other poster. Just go to the User Control Panel and find the "enemies list" and type in any name that annoys you and enter it. You will then be spared seeing any of that person's posts, making the board more enjoyable!........................elsullo

I'm finding this board much more enjoyable now that more people are posting comments. It's great to hear fron Elsullo, kevin, shootingmad, chton, tommygun, Brian and others that are making both thoughtful and humerous posts.

One thing that bothers me; however, are a few of the remarks that have been made about some of the actresses that work in this community--two in particular.

Okay, I'll bite

Which two actresses, and what are your concerns? I'm not sure which thread or post you are referring to. Of course, we have to allow everyone to express their opinions, but that includes you, if you want to elaborate.

Personally, I always prefer constructive criticism over negative comments. While directing, I use this method exclusively. I never tell an actress, for example, that she can't act. I try to mold them into a better actress, and give them tips as to how to improve their acting. All of my actresses (and I'm sure this applies to other producer's actresses) are very open to constructive criticism, and really care about putting in their very best performance. They want to be proud of what they do. None of my actresses are just out to make a quick buck. I would immediately show them the door, if that was their only motivation. I'm not sure if that touches on your concerns or not, but I thought I'd share those thoughts anyway as they flew unbidden into my mind

Hi,
This is a great question and i can't wait to get my teeth into it. As I mentioned on another
thread, this board has a unique feature in that it is an outgrowth of a necro-video site and we shouldtake advantage of that fact. We should have our own identity. So here goes some
suggestions for what they are worth.

1) I dion't want to bore you with the state of the economy, but I have noticed that some
members on several of the boards have stated that they would love to buy a video
but they can't afford it. Some producers have actually run sales, to try and ease
this dreadful situation. it is obvious thapeople don't post is because they couldn't
buy the video being discussed. Perhaps we could run sales on certain videos to
be run from Blue's video site and advertised on other message boards. I understand
that niche clips takes about 40% of the video price (Blue can correct me if I am
wrong), so it might increase our flow to this site and our board, if we don't advertise
the sale there. However it may not be prudent business wise.

2) Maybe we should expand the On Topic Board to cover all forms of cinematic
entertainment, which would include necro and non necro types of movies , TV shows
and straight to video type movies. People passing through, just might be interested in our
our reviews.

3) I have always been curious about the ladies who act in our fetish movies, but for
obvious reasons (stalking, uncouth comments, etc.) we have to keep ,a barrier
of protection around these actresses. Perhaps we could create a link where
board members could ask sensible questions and obtain answers. There would be
a liason (maybe Blue or G-man) ,who has all the email addresses ,who receives and
reads the message or question and, if appropriate , is then sent on to the actress
to which the message was addressed to. The answer is then relayed back to the liason
and placed on the message board for all to read . Of course, a certain number of the
actresses have to agree to this, if an actress says no , her wishes should be respected,
that goes without saying. This may mean more work for Blue (he can thank me later)
but maybe he can get Velvet or somebody to help him.

4) Last, but not least, to all the custom makers, great and small, I was wondering if
anyone was interested in our motivations. When Blue asked me If I wanted to put my name
on my next custom I said yes. Only two things can happen, either I get praise or those
crates of unripened tomates everyone bought will get well used. The point is I am hoping
it generates conversation, but isn't that what we are trying to do? Maybe other custom
makers would like to do the same thing.

P.S. Please, throw only cherry tomatoes they don't hurt as bad and they are good for
salads

Lets see. You've got outrageously lovely ladies who seem to enjoy doing this stuff. And we enjoy them doing it. And you do a nice job filming it. Gonna need lots of improvement here! If i have to name something, maybe more stabbing, shooting in those delicate bellies although you already have done many. Maybe more surprised looks as they get it? Nitpicking now.

I always try to credit customs to the customers, if they approve. I think they'll love your three, Kevin, starting with "Investment In Murder"!!!

It all sounds great, but I am going to turn the tables on you. If these ideas
fail, I am going to claim you okayed it and are blaming it on a poor, innocent DOM (dirty old man).

On the topic board suggestion, I actually steered clear of an All Topics board
because I felt it might lead to flareups and consume you time cooling down
posters and bad boys like me. It would be more interesting with more people.

I must say you surprised me by acting so quickly on a suggestion ( talking to the
girls) that may fall flat on its face. I hope it is successful, and opens a line to more potential
discussion. Post away guys and dolls Meredith awaits.

I would love to find a way to involve the producers on this board, I find them an extremely interesting group. However, I realize that some of them use their sites as almost
their sole source of income and therefore are extremely busy.

A good way to involve producers is to start a thread that mentions them and their products. I'm sure the word will get out. I'm not talking about slamming them, I'm talking about starting a thread by simply asking a question such as "Who is your favourite producer other than Bluestone?" or "What is your favourite death fetish video and why?" Once again, posters don't have to even mention Bluestone videos in this discussion. Don't worry, my ego won't be bruised

I will start off just to answer the two easy questions you just asked. Bluestone and KHP are my all time favourite producers. Annabelles is maybe number three, mainly because of Petra. My all time favourite video is Open House, Open Fire, with the lovely Suzi. By a mile !!! KHP gets a lot of marks because of the amount of good stuff Paul consistently put out (until his recent decision to pull the plug on his site). My only complaint about Blue's production is the long waits for me for something I am interested in. Pictures are shown of upcoming videos, then those are shown maybe a year later because they keep getting bumped. I have seen pictures of some Petra videos shot last year that have yet to be shown. Ooops.. this wasn't meant as a discussion for those complaints.. my mind just started wandering.

I totally agree with your producer picks. I loved Paul's stuff at KHP, when I had the time to enjoy it. He had great effects and some great-looking models. He also had some great concepts, such as the clones, etc. I just found that he probably overdid some of the killings with much too much mouth blood. Beautiful actresses don't look quite the same after they've coughed blood all over their faces. One fan on DS suggested that Paul do a video with only a few stabs as opposed to the 30 or so that he sometimes does. I think he likes to showcase his f/x, since not many people do it better than him. My money's still on Dr. Don as the f/x king though.

Annabelle's... Petra... what can I say? I loved that old site... mostly because of Petra!!!

Now, as for my bumping of upcoming videos. I plead guilty with an explanation This is directly related to the custom end of my business. Customs always have to come first, since people pay hundreds of dollars to see their dreams realized on celluloid. When I'm editing customs, I have no time to edit additional videos for posting. So, the customs are edited and posted in priority to other video postings. There was one Petra custom that was scheduled for posting a while ago. It was pulled, because I still haven't been paid for the custom. From now on, all customs will be paid in full before they are filmed. I'd love to post that one, but not until it's been paid for. That is why that particular one was bumped and still hasn't aired almost a year after it was shot :(
