* I don't know if this film will be of any interest to anybody on here, but I will give my brief description of this movie. If you haven't seen it yet, and are worried about spoilers, then don't read any further!

I went to see the film "Surrogates" tonight. Now I'm more of a "freeze" or "timestop" junkie (called ASFR in our world) . . . This would have to deal with women being turned into mannequins, robots, frozen in ice, or being turned into statues. Keep in mind that all of the surrogates are beautiful, physically perfect, life-like robots. However, if you're into blank, glassy-eyed stares, then you won't be disappointed. Both of the main female characters are VERY,VERY HOT, and both are deactivated at some point in the movie. (When they are deactivated, their head tilts down a bit, but their eyes stay open.

The reason I mention this film on this board, is because the entire grid of surrogates are shut down at the end of the film. (They collapse to the ground). There are plenty of camera pans throughout the city - deactivated bodies lying in the streets, hanging over railings, slumped over or lying back in the seats of their cars, or even hanging out the windows. Many are beautiful women that sit or lay there with eyes staring vacantly. Bruce Willis's hot wife works in a beauty salon, where all of the women are physically perfect. The salon is also shown at the end, with many of the female patrons hangng off of their chairs, slumped over or lying on the ground.

Although these are deactivated robots, with a little imagination, the cold blank stares may be enjoyable for some of you folks. Just thought I'd give a heads up.

I do like beautiful female bodies sprawled out erotically with haunting death stares. Can you share any photos, or does anyone else have any? I figure there might be some great material in this movie for some cool manips.

I don't know about any material for manips, but there were some good screensavers in there. Anyway, all I have is the trailer from youtube.

As far as any shootings go: Bruce's partner (the surrogate version) takes a sniper shot to the head and collapses with green goo and steam coming out of her temple. The living version of his partner is shot to death in her bed just before this, but the camera pans upward as the killer starts firing. The cute blonde seen at 00:50 in the trailer, is met at the dance club. She is electrocuted with a weapon that overloads and then fries her circuitry. There is a nice shot of her lying in the street with her skirt hiked up, but when the camera zooms in on her face, one eye socket is burned out, and the other glass eye is shattered. I had a different trailer saved where Bruce Willis is shown brushing the strands of blonde hair away from her face, and it showed a better version of her death stare, but apparently youtube took it down.

There is one scene where Willis drives a car through the front window of a department store. The cops show up and pry the door open on his car, but apparently he's escaped. As the cops walk away, the camera pans down to where he's hiding among the dead shoppers that he's just run down. I remember one dead girl that was staring ahead beneath the carnage.

The scenes that I thought would have more interest on here, were at the end when the powergrid is shut down and all of the surrogates (the entire population of the city) collapse to the ground. Again - these are supposed to be robots, but obviously they are real living actresses that are all beautiful and playing robots. As I mentioned before: there are various scenes shown throughout the city of bodies lying everywhere: the packed subway; on city streets; in their cars; lying on the sidewalks; and in the beauty salon. The FBI office, as well as some of the bodies in the streets, are briefly shown at the end in the trailer below:

I took my son to it because he likes Bruce Willis and sci-fi, and generally dislikes gratuitous movie mayhem against women. This was his kind of movie. I went to be with him. I didn't think I would get any type of erotic thrill whatsoever, and I was correct. It was rated PG-13 and there was no nudity whatsoever... the only skin I remember was a surrogate who was zapped in the head and later shown (VERY BRIEFLY) laying dead on the pavement in her bra and skirt.

As far as Hollywood movies go, neither one of us were overly impressed by "Surrogates." Our all-time favorite movie so far this year is "Inglorious Bastards!" We also liked "District 9."

Hollywood has a LONG LONG LONG way to go to cater to our fetish. I had some free movie passes for this one. Buy from our local producers in here instead!
