Most honorable Bluestone, I suggest that you apologize to Debbie D regarding your "punk ass" character statements in the opening request. The sampler sent to you was carefully chosen by Debbie to illustrate her broad range of acting abilities. A similar sampler was sent to Dalila.

If you cannot appreciate her acting abilities, I suggest that you avoid publicly criticizing her characters. She has written many of the scenarios that appear on Horror Variety Theater. I dare say that you have seen very little of her total works that are available, above and beyond WAVE.

I will be conveying your inappropriate remarks to Debbie D.

Read my quote above again. Of course I can appreciate Debbie's acting abilities, but I was talking about the producers and how they cast her in the portion of the video sampler that I viewed. So, there is absolutely no need for me to apologize to Debbie. I mentioned in the same quote above that Debbie is a good actress. The above comment was clearly directed at the producer of the hitchhiker fiasco video that I started to view, and the other one that I started to watch... for about ten seconds. I couldn't watch any more, because my time is too valuable to waste it on seeing a quality actress in a substandard production such as that one, and I told Debbie that already. So, if you want to tell her that I posted what I've already told her in private, then go right ahead. She is a member here, and can comment or not as she wishes.

Now, as to whether I should apologize to whoever produced the video in question... No! I do not, and will not apologize. I have the right to voice my opinion and I will do so... since you brought up the subject. I was very interested in seeing Debbie's more recent work prior to our shoot later this month. As you may know, I am a fan of Debbie from as far back as her Wave days. She is a beautiful and talented actress. The Hitchhiker video that I saw was not only poorly shot by the person who was also playing the male character in the opening, but Debbie was cast as a gum-chewing punk ass chick. She played the character that she was asked to play, and played it so well that I had no interest whatsoever whether she got whacked or not. I.M.H.O. there was nothing sexy about that character. I have the fetish, and I like Debbie D, but I didn't bother to even fast forward to the death scene. I had no interest in watching any further. I started to watch a second one, and within 10 seconds, realized that Debbie was again being cast in a cheap female role. I lost interest in the entire DVD and have not bothered to watch further.

I will be casting Debbie completely differently and giving her some substantial and sexy roles. I will ensure that the production values are high, and that Debbie is flanked by trained actors and not cameraman/actors. That is what I was saying above and I stand by it.

Now, it's up to Dalila if she wants to comment on her take on this DVD. She may have watched the whole thing and completely disagree with me. That's fine, but I was not impressed by that production at all. Why are you so defensive. Were you the producer?

The only time you appear on this forum you spend your time criticizing other members, starting arguments, or tattling to others. I have no more patience for you. If you must insert yourself into my private dealings with Debbie D, then kindly have her email me directly. I do not deal through intermediaries! I notice that you side-stepped the issue of whether or not you were the producer of that lackluster production. Whether Debbie D wrote it or not, she cannot be at fault for the way it was filmed. I stand by my statements above, and that is final. Now kindly stop hijacking this thread, or I'll tattle to the moderators and request that they intercede like you are always so quick to do whenever someone doesn't agree with you... which it appears is most of the time these days.

Honorable Bluestone, perhaps you misunderstod my suggestion and explanation. IMO the issue of the producer is your fabrication. I stated that the character was defined by Debbie D, acted out per her interpretation of the character with props selected by her. Thus, you are in fact insulting Debbie D.

Debbie writes many of the video scenarios in which she appears. With that knowledge again I state that you are insulting Debbie D. Debbie has worked for a significant variety of producers who may have allowed her to play the character as she saw fit. They recognized her talent and were not otherwise put out as you have described yourself.

Again I suggest that you apologize to Debbie D.

Let me see if I understand your recent response, Honorable Bluestone. IMO you have reserved to yourself the ability to insult a well know actress, Debbie D, and then offer as your defense that you are merely describing the producer without provoking your moderators. Is that correct? Please explain why attacking the producer is germaine to your request for scenarios for Debbie D? Are you trying to hijack Debbie from working for WAVE, MPclips, Dalila and other producers? Or are you merely trying to provoke responses that you can use to ban another DS member?

If you sincerely wish to attract scenarios for Debbie, then why add the insults and attacks. Are you trying to offend Debbie as you did in your email to her?

Finally, you alone have the power to ban anyone you so chose, with or without justification. Are you setting a scenario, claiming hijacking of your thread and then following your self fulfilling prophecy? I am sure that some people wonder what the heck is going on.

I'm sure no one is wondering what is going on. It's painfully obvious. You are doing what you always do on FF. You are picking a fight and then complaining about being attacked. You are refusing to understand what I have plainly stated, and trying to put your spin on the facts. You hijacked this topic, not me. Debbie made it clear to me that she works for several producers. I have set one short shoot with Debbie. Hello everyone,

Since my name has come up in the course of this thread I want to make sure that something is understood:

I decide to work with actresses based upon how I perceive them, not upon comments made about them by anyone else.

Penn I am still looking forward to working with Debbie and I assume that the arrangements we made a while ago still hold true.

Nothing posted in this thread would cause me to change my mind about that.

I cannot speak for other producers, but I am committed to the shoot based upon the terms we agreed to.

I hope this clarifies my position.

The question to Pennpaul has been answered. I was indeed referring to the sampler. I also made it clear to Debbie, and I make it clear here, that Debbie's acting was very effective in portraying an obnoxious character. I also made it clear to Debbie that I am not interested in her portraying such a character in my videos, because I am completely turned off by obnoxious characters, especially as victims. A sexy bad girl is intriguing, and I do like to see them get what they deserve, but that was not the case here. Anyway, Debbie understands my position on this point, and is still agreeable to filming with me. Accordingly, this is between me and her, and no one else.

Dalila, thank you for your clarification. Of course, you will decide what type of characters you will cast Debbie as, and that is between you and her. It will be quite interesting to see what you and Debbie come up with. It's a shame that this topic was hijacked by someone who obviously has an ax to grind, and must think that we are trying to steal Debbie D away from him, but that is what Pennpaul seems to be about these days... causing controversy and havoc wherever he posts.

Pennpaul, I don't like to suspend anyone, but you are definitely barking up the wrong tree here. I do not have to justify anything to you. I am in constant email communication with Debbie and all of these issues have been hashed out between us. Debbie was also disappointed that she watched my sampler, and I couldn't get through hers. If that marks her as a better professional in your mind, then so be it. All I know is that I'm hiring Debbie and not the other way around. I'm paying her, she's not paying me. It's much more important for her to be familiar with my style in order for her to prepare herself for a Bluestone shoot. Frankly, the most disappointing part of the portion of the Hitchhiker video was the painfully obvious fact that the cameraman was playing the character interacting with Debbie in the initial set-up sequence. This was shot in such a lame and amateur fashion that it would have made Catherine Zeta Jones look bad. If it makes me unprofessional to refuse to screen a crappy production, then I guess I'm unprofessional. Why don't you post the introductory scene from Hitchhiker on the Video Share forum for all to see, or I will post it for you. I'm not talking about the death scene, just the intro. Since I am shooting with Debbie D in a little under 3 weeks, I wish to finalize my shooting schedule as well as give all of you some input into this shoot. Every producer has their own style, and as you know, mine is upscale, classy ladies, and Debbie D is certainly fully capable of playing such roles, and is looking forward to doing so. I just emailed her the link to this thread, so that she's well aware of everything that's going on here. So, also feel free to make any comments to Debbie on this thread.

What other, constructive ideas or suggestions does the FF membership have for the upcoming Bluestone Debbie D extravaganza? I estimate that we'll be shooting about 8-12 videos during our 3 day shoot.

I answered this in my previous response on my friendship with Debbie. Which part of "defending my friend" confuses you? Or do you expect Debbie to waste valuable time that she needs for emails??

Sorry, I really don't keep up with anyone's "previous responses". I simply do not find your posts that interesting to read them all. So, in other words, you weren't asked to "stand in her stead", but rather it is out of your overwhelming sense of obligation... Got it
