The law is intituled "AV appearance damage prevention", for some years now Japan has begun to create new laws against adult movies and violent sexual movies on internet.

This law especially will slow down a lot the production of the movies by the japaneses fetish producers.

The censorships against fetish producers are expanding not just in Europe or in the US but in Japan too.

While in the statistics Japan and Europe have the lowest crime rate against women in the world.

So, should we expect Pixiv, being the japanese project, will start a Deviantart-like purge for our kind fetish artists ? Or this law covers only live action videos with real people as actresses and not related to artworks and 3D generated videos?

What do you expect from the country that bans showing genitalia? It's why tentacle porn exists.

I think so, artworks and comics are not concerned in this law. It concerns only movies, videos, clips or photos with real actresses and women characters in them.

Now the japaneses producers have to wait more than 4 months to release a movie after its complete production. At any time movies can be canceled or deleted in sales, even 2 years after its release if there is a complaint against the movie. That's means huge loss of money and an important slow down of the fetish productions in Japan.

And I think this law is not the last one !

Japan is just a prudish society, which leads to more sexual repression, which leads to more violent hentai.

Expect hentai to become more violent after this. Is Illusion still making games?

They are just following the US-western global order, they obey correctly to their protectors, we don't have our troops (80 000) there for nothing at least. They want to be a part of our culture, ideology and value since 1945.

Effectively Japan is not like China, Russia, India or Brazil. Japan listens and follows strictly the western world. LOL

Japan goes above and beyond Western standards by banning depictions of genitalia. Like I said, that's why tentacle porn exists.

I remember watching a hentai called Fobia (starring the guy who voiced Yugi Muto LOL!), in which it was okay to depict girls being drained of blood until they turn into Walter Donovan, but not show their lady bits. Japanese porn can go harder than its Western counterparts - yet stops short at a commonality in the US. And I'm convinced it goes harder to compensate for that one line of censorship. It causes more sexual repression, which is how you get content like RapeLay.

Speaking of that sexual repression, I just remembered this exists - and this is not a hentai!

That ban would not apply to content like this LOL.
