"Scotland Yard Cold Cases #84 – Eyewitness", starring Liz, is coming soon! Liz arrives home from a film shoot, but is followed by a criminal who has been sent to silence her. He and his accomplices think that she spotted them casing an armoured car heist for the next day. They can't take any chances that she can identify them, so she has to die. Liz puts up some resistence, but eventually her attacker grabs an ice pick and thrusts it several times into her belly, and she falls to the floor bleeding. She pleads for her life, but her killer ends her suffering instead.

Liz is lovely and turns in a fine performance! Stabbing is not my personal fetish, but this is a fast-paced, brutal killing of the type of sexy woman we've all encountered in our daily lives. I loved his "Don't fight it, lets you and me party!". It seems to conceal the fact he's there to kill her in hopes that she will stop resisting and make it easy for him. Learning quickly that she's a fighter, he naturally responds by making it brutal. Her plaintive "Why?" once she understands she's going to die was wonderful, and drives home the tragic nature of her simply being in the wrong place, at the wrong time, leading to her murder.

What Liz might lack in glamour, she more than makes up for in acting ability! I absolutely hope that we get to see more of her. I wouldn't mind seeing her strangled with a ligature in a tight outfit like that without a bra and wearing hose, for example. She could also make a nice, retired heroine, forced to return to the field to search for her missing protégé, similar to what was done with Louise in "Nightwarrior".
