Sadly it is true.
Bob (aka Scott) was at one time a fairly big name behind the scenes in the Hollywood business, and worked on several movies doing stunts and arranging fight scenes and some effects. Hopefully there will be an obituary at some point, if there is then I will try to link it on here

He was the Batman stunt double in the legendary fan film, "Batman: Dead End".
