Lighhands and others

To rationalize my mistake yesterday, I would simply like to mention those who were once active in the necrofetish community, but seem now to have become inactive. In obvious cases like Dr. Don we do know what happened. In other cases it is not so clear. Once upon a time in this forum we heard from Peter Cohen, who effectively retired after the fall of necrobabes. Tricky Dicky, who in real life offered translation services, used to be active in Deviant Art but not of late. We know that Templar's site went down and I guess Templar is effectively retired. Sam's Place is still archived, I think, but I have not checked lately and I heard a few years ago that he was still posting on another site that used to be Rusnecro, but I have no idea whether that site is still active. For a while I posted pics there. They had rather loose restrictions, so I could do a few things that wouldn't be accepted here (NOT underage! Something else.) And we all know what happened to Uncle Buck. And of course, Lighthands once was fairly prolific. Other names escape me. There was a guy who specialized in cheerleader death battles. I still have some of his work. But I'm wondering whether anyone new is entering the community. Bluestone will be around for a long time, I hope, but I'm wondering about the future of this type of fetish community. Does it all eventually fade away? Will it all have been a kind of blip, brought into being by a specific group of people of a certain age, who moved beyond usenet and the primitive boards of that time when it was possible to do so, with no business model and initially no interest in making the fetish profitable? Will it have any staying power? Should it?

Anon did the mass battle scene stories between girls, including his famous cheerleader squads using Poser.
One producer I was always curious about that suddenly retired was Hank Samuels.
He had a several company names, Club Dead, Rue Morgue, Rainforest, Roadkill, Grey Panther and made several large productions...
I think JohnM worked with him, maybe he knows?
Other past names that I believe are gone are Pure Terror/Brutal Tales, RPB Studios, Carrie, InShadow, Secret Curiosity Art, Unger, Sexy Spy Girls, Slay Mates, Erotic Death/Leather Gun Girls, Killville, PMS Productions.
Dr. Don and his brother had PerfectShots. Paul had Killher Productions. I felt they were the FX gurus of the time.
And of course, Necrobabes with a number of producers under their umbrella that catered to specific tastes.
I've been out of the game for several years and have only recently returned after retiring. Please accept my apologies, if I accidently named a producer that is still in business. There are many more forums on-line these days that I am not aware of.

Getting old is not for the fainthearted. I'm coping pretty well, so far. You reminded me of Topcat who used to be listed on the necrobabes list of free or affiliated sites. You can still find that link list in the internet archive, but they don't necessarily lead to anything. Not much content made it into the archive. Wild Bill's House of Horrors! That's another one of those sites from the past. Lots of pics but poor resolution but the digital cameras of the day weren't very good. I recall a site by Dimitri, or very similar that went under or was discontinued very early. Blackplague had a large archive of images, fairly well organized. But some were very gruesome. I vaguely remember a "Terry Gray" in that link list. That whole scene seems to have burst into existence in 1997. And I believe it had its origins on Usenet, where some of the original creators/producers were sharing content. And of course, Shelby Burns of Las Vegas, who did a lot of photosets and movies. All of that stuff was VHS. The transition to DVD and CD was rocky. Ah, I remember now, Shelby had Your Dark Fantasies.

Maybe this is the perfect entry…
My name is Janos, and I may be the longest lurker of all time
I have been lurking this and many other boards for twenty-five years. I was a "collector" and never distributed much of anything.
My main sources were Femme Fatales, DeadSkirts, Catharsis, DropDead Gorgeous, the old Chris site Tricky Dicky. I bought a fair amount from Nicheclips and other PPV-type sites.
My fantasies were always belly and navel centered and what I collected reflects that inclination.
My key “unique-ness” is that I completely lack a a “death fetish” The main characters/victims all survive, only wounded, but seriously. All the usual elements remain from a lot of the death- fetish material: Sounds, smells, facial expressions, body movements, etc.
But I found very little commonality, and so stayed lurking
I have probably 150, maybe 200 GB of material that I would love to pass on to someone so that it will not be lost after I’m gone, and maybe not too long from now.
I have, for example a lot of what members are looking for.
Many of the ANON complete sets of Cheerleader wars and most of his other stuff. I picked up lots of Shelby stuff from nichelips. I have lots of stories picked from DeadSkirts, and stories and photosets. I have old photosets from early Susyfight days. Old Cash and CashPPV files. Even LightHands stuff from DFH.
I’m glad I have lots of written stories, which seem very rare.
I would love to share or pass on these files if I can figure out how to send large files. For, example, my only custom is 1.32 GB- how best to move it? But I’ll be glad to try to pick off samples.
I will also get to work on a proper user intro to explain my fantasies specifics and evolution.

Maybe you could post selections? It looks like you have too much material for anyone to deal with as a download. Some pics? You must have a good sense of what people here would be interested in seeing. I suppose mediafire might be an option.

Mr Janos, any chance you could join up with Deadly Desires? It's just that Muttley on there is trying to find, trace and preserve any material from the old sites that have disappeared, especially DeadSkirts. Thank you

I have a pretty fair amount of Lighthands (I admire his work...) material, stories, manips and photos that I downloaded from Dark Fetish Network. I'd be glad to share it with you or the Members if it's OK with Lighthands, but am not sure I can contact him.

I've tried several times to get into Deadly Desires, but they never have gotten around to sending me an invite code! So if anyone from DD is reading this, I'll try again: Please send me an invite code? I would.love to join, but this is my third request at least!
