The New Off-Topic Forum is now Open!

Hey Everyone,
I've gauged the general mood here. Many people feel that the less erotic and more political threads should not be clogging up this forum and interfering with the enjoyment of our fetish. Accordingly, I have moved all such current topics, including Dalila's Mirror Thread to the brand new Off-Topic forum.
Members and Moderators please note that this forum is now restricted to topics that relate directly to the erotic death fetish. All unrelated matters are to be posted on the Off-Topic Forum, or will be moved there by the moderators without a shadow topic remaining here.
So, for those only interested in fetish-related discussions, this is the forum for you!
For those who wish to discuss other matters, check out the Off-Topic Forum and feel free to enjoy the discussions there.

I wholeheartedly agree. Most community members are here for reason of their fetish interests and really do not want to wallow in the mud outside of their fetish interests. While many off topic threads are indeed worthy threads, they do indeed warrant their own sub forum, so as to keep the on topic forum a place of concentrated fun.

While a good idea to separate the discussions, I wonder why bother allowing such off topic discussions. This should be strictly for our fetishes. I guess as they always say, I can always turn the channel- or in this case, choose never to go into that part of the forum, which is what I will do. When I was at Deadskirts I never ventured into the off topic forum. There are other sites to talk about those other things. If it keeps these pages free of the arguments then I guess I should be happy for that.

Great Idea.

I certainly advocated an "off-topic" forum. The FF community has come into being through a shared interest, but in reality consists of a wide variety of nationalities, ages and backgrounds, with a wide diversity of viewpoints and outside interests.
Properly used, discussing those unrelated matters seems to me TO INCREASE THE FEELING OF BONDING TOGETHER (even if we disagree on some issues!) and enables us to get to know each other better on a virtual basis. Though most of us will never meet each other outside of Bluestone Mansion, and (for many) Deadskirts too, we will all see each other as individuals and get to know each other better- to see a person (even an anonymous one) behind the sign-in name and avatar.
If we cast aside the undoubted dross that exists on the DS all topic forum (the personal hate threads) there still remain many, many interesting, intelligent, and challenging discussions; and much shared useful information.
What we need on FF is the diamonds without the dross. That has to be kept off it for the sake of the great majority that find it tedious and offensive.

Sounds like as great idea. there are many times i wanted to discuss (note the word is discuss)
various news items. The off topic board will allow for such discussions and also allow those ,who are strictly inclinedc to read about our fetish, the right to ignore the off topic board.

The Rules of the Board have been updated. The revised Rule #4 now reads:
"4) Stay On Topic: The topic of the Main On-Topic forum of this board is Female Death Scenes, but the administration allows postings unrelated to this main topic on the Off-Topic Discussion Forum."
This should clarify the divisions between the two discussion boards. Basically, if you're talking about female death scenes, genre productions (such as the f/x threads), and any erotic subjects, they can all be posted on the Main On-Topic Forum.
The New Off-Topic Forum relates to topics not directly related to our fetish. For example, discussing how message boards are operated is NOT directly related to our fetish. Off-color jokes are not related to our fetish. Flame wars are specifically banned from the Main On-Topic Discussion Forum. If they are not of a civil nature, they will be banned from the Off-Topic Forum too. Basically, the board rules remain the same, we've just split the discussion forum into two separate forums.
I hope this clarifies where you should post. If in doubt, the moderators can move topics to where they feel they best belong. We understand that there is a learning curve involved, so don't worry too much if you post on the wrong forum. I won't punish you... unless you're Dalila. Then, I will want some strangle time

Blue....yes, great idea! My position echoes that of Smudger. Sure, we come here, and hopefully cum here (frequently!) for our fantasies, but the opportunity to discuss, and yes, therefore get to know Members more personally, has always turned me on. There are other places to go discuss things, no doubt, but here we get a superb cross-section of people the world over, and with our growing number of members that's a wonderfully diverse group to input all kinds of opinions on a subject.
Love it.
Thanks, Blue, should keep the junk off the On Topic forum indeed!

As I was saying about Italian Baroque Opera and performance practice regarding ornaments...
Ooops that is off topic.

Okay, Dalila,
Take off one of your nylons very slowly, and erotically, and hand it to me. Since this is just a warning, I will only strangle you into unconsciousness or until you orgasm, whichever comes first. Hey, at least wait until I put the nylon around your neck. Jeeze Louise! You are a horny little diva, aren't you?
(Oooops. Can I name call on this forum? Hey, mods, I need a ruling here. Perhaps, I should create an all-new forum for name-calling. What do you think?)

Actually, I was going to suggest just that. Give it an appropriate name, like the "Dusty Bin Forum", and relegate all threads which go that way to it. That way those that don't want to see that sort of stuff can simply never access that particular forum and the boys can happily have their playground arguments, undisturbed by Teacher:
"It's your fault!" "No, it's yours!" (Repeat a few times) then, "Yeah but I said it first, na na na!" "Yeah but I'm saying it loudest, na na na!" "I'm telling my dad of you!" "Go on then, I'll tell MY dad, and my dad's bigger than your dad!" "Yeah but my dad's a policeman!"..... fun, wasn't it?
while those of us that have grown out of it can surf the other forums in peace.
Another great idea Blue!
(maybe its first entrant could be the "Is there something wrong..." thread which was plainly intended to propagate a self-fulfilling statement? )

Tokie....I LOVE 'hipeez'! They think 'out of the box', they think different thoughts, often radical ones. We need all sides to be examined on any question! Ah, and I can smell that 'smoke' and it is sweet and pungent.....not that I, of course, ever tried it and certainly never would have inhaled! Actually, pretty amazing what things I've put down my throat.....ooops, that's for another forum

.
Smudger, I agree completely. I even introduced 2 new topics at the New Forum that I do not believe we have discussed at the other board's forum.
I love the idea. Yes, Kevin, indeed, the key word is 'discuss'......please!....lol. No reason for anger, just respect all equally, and discuss.
