It isn't from a Broadway show. "..and the livin' is easy," or more completely, "Summertime, and the livin' is easy. Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high," is from the iconic song, "Summertime," from George Gershwin's opera, "Porgie and Bess."
That will be five bucks USD, or a pint of gin. No checks.
