Hi there

Yes,welcome to the board Wildman and as another old fart I can also confirm T/G's comment about the geriatrics in this "club". I'm 67,but not the oldest, and I know there are quite a few of us out here! My first "experience" was seeing Marie Windsor get shot in the torso and fall down a flight of stairs in "No Man's Women" back in '56 and it took another 45 -odd years before I discovered this community. My younger days were spent hanging around second-hand bookshops ogling the covers of detective magazines, and the latter going to all the horror and b-grade action and crime movies I could get to. This board and others,some still around and others,sadly, closed down have given me great pleasure and a real sense of comradeship. If only the internet had been invented earlier!! As my dear old departed Dad was wont to say, "Alas for the years that the locusts heave consumed!"

I also relate and have done most if not all the same things through the years:

shoot at girly mag pictures with a BB gun
collect exploytation mens magazines, paperback books and comic hunting
watch movies on late night T.V. to see if I can catch a scene
even took polaroid snaps off the T.V.
and 35mm snaps in movie threaters back in the 60's before VCR's.
When VCR's came out
I would get two of them and make my own death scene collections like a lot
of you all probably done

Have you seen Big O's collections on the Video Share part of this board yet? He did a fantastic job creating an incredible assortment of themed clips!
