60s/70s Spy movie remakes?

Post by mystic11 »

Are any producers out there interested in making any remakes of scenes from spy movies of the 60s and 70s? Maybe do some scenes from the big names like Wonder Women, Operation White Shark, Million Eyes of Sumuru, Geheimcode Death-Force, Temptress of 1000 faces, Silencers, Virgins From Hell, etc?

I know a couple of scenes from the above mentioned movies that could have done with some better body views (if there were any at all), better lighting, etc... What do you guys think?

Sounds interesting. How long would the story be to establish the scenes? Would the scene by itself be recognizable or require a detial advertisement intro?

Is there a concensus regarding popular scenes?

Sounds like a poll would be helpful

Good questions. I mean, I'm not sure. I don't know how elaborate most producers can make their sets. Just the death scenes would need to be filmed. The actual movies are there already, as far as plot goes. This was just an idea that came up seeing all the Frenzy discussion.

I did a Silencers remake with Velvets a couple of years ago. They're easy to do, and the originals are a great guide to go by, just adding more babe views pre-and post-mortem to the mix. I'm always interested in re-doing scenes. I re-did Frenzy with Petra over a year ago. Niagara is also coming up in a week or so with Petra playing the scheming Marilyn Monroe character. :D

What is your main fetish?: It's a combination of secret agents, superheroines, celebs, and pregnant women being killed. Although i don't necessarily have to talk about the last one on the boards if it's too sensitive of an issue.
Why do you want to join this forum?: Looks like a fun place to chat

Not sure if it counts as a spy scene, but the female German officer who was a double agent in Force 10 From Navarone I think had a great scene that I'd love to see recreated. Same tight fitting military uniform. Still shot in the back. But let's draw it out a bit with the Allied double agent that shoots her going to her, turning her over, and gloating as she jiggles and jerks and curses him with her last breaths. It ends with him kissing her for giving such an entertaining show.

I'd be happy to see someone redo the scene with Tilly Masterson from Goldfinger, but maybe add a necro element to it. The neck snap by bowler hat is a pretty awesome idea, but too short for my tastes (that's the problem with neck snaps. Well preserved body without the damage of shooting or stabbing or the distorted faces strangling and suffocation can leave, but it's a very brief death)
