New Game Prototype

This has been sitting too long waiting to upload - I wanted to see how easy or hard it was to make my own animated sprites (characters) in poser and use them. Verdict: Very time consuming, but cheap.

Left click fires, right click resets. There are separate death animations for headshot, left breast, right breast, stomach, and abdomen.

Hope you like it! (works on PC and Macs)

Cute, though I 'much' prefer it if they are fully nude. The animations were fairly believable. I would have had the walk sequence much faster. As it is she takes a very long time to get close, and then slows down. So you either have to wait a good while each time to see the animations close up, or just watch a tiny sprite way off in the distance. It would make for a better 'game' if she walked at a consistent speed.

All that said, in my opinion the best way to make such a 'game' is to use a 3D game constructor like Darkbasic, build and 'bone' a 3D model, marry it to a proper ragdoll, and then go to town with that. It is quite a bit easier to animate a 3D model doing a death sequence than it is to build a sprite, once you've gotten a handle on the software. And for those times where you don't have a death animation, you can always have it default to the ragdoll collapsing for a random effect. There is nothing stopping you from having multiple animations or even doing animation blending, either with other animations 'or' with the ragdoll to get semi-random animations.
